Actually the record holder would be Yami Yugi with Obelisk the Tormentor's Infinity ATK. This is an unbreakable record that can't be beaten by anyone because you can't beat infinity.
@@yaboigamerdouji7573 If you're saying that, then you didn't actually watch the show. Obelisk's ATK meter went to Infinity when Yami Yugi tried to Attack Merik's Ra with it after using its effect. This is something that was shown ON-SCREEN. The only other character who has achieved this feat of having a monster with Infinity ATK would be Dartz with his Orichalcos boss monster. The record had already been set and cannot be beaten. It can only be tied. Yuma's 204,000 ATK is impressive no doubt about that, but Yuma setting the record for highest ATK is just plain wrong.
@@darkglass3011 That was anime only. We’re going by actual numbers here. Yugi’s absolute highest known ATK for any monster was 8,000. Yuma went all the way up to 200,000 using 2 different monster effects and Double-Up Chance.

This is true for the original Yu-Gi-Oh, GX, 5D's, and so on. The series are connected to one another in the anime continuity while it's not necessarily the case in each of the series' respective manga. Therefore, it's fair to compare records and feats between anime, but absolutely inappropriate to bring the manga into the equation. To say that Infinity ATK in the DM anime doesn't count because the manga says so is atrociously disingenuous because the ZeXal manga is ALSO a different story from its anime counterpart, just like any of the other series' anime and manga. Don't embarrass yourself with mental gymnastics just because you don't want to admit you're wrong. It's better for you to accept you're wrong than to portray yourself as disingenuous by moving the goal post.
This duel was fantastic and honestly combine this with Yuma Vs Shark it's one of the most intense duels ever because just as Yuma and Shark tag team with Kaito to beat Don Thousand, the duel isn't over, because IMMEDIATELY after this victory Shark and Yuma duel and both of them are exhausted, it's one hell of a gauntlet and feels like a JRPG boss battle
My dude/tte, there is no way the ZEXAL forms made enough of a difference in the budget to change the animation. Plus it's a nice contrast with Yugi and Jaden's transformed states merging with someone else
