Every time I ever see a new winch line get rolled on a drum a nice pretty and perfect looking I know just assure as death and taxes that is the last time that cable will ever get rolled on drum that way.
Yep
Just so you know , Love watching you guys mounting the new 4000's winch !! You and Kevin go together like Shake -n- Bake LOL
Love watching the 2 of you worked so well together that you'd be lost without the other
That sure is one clean dozer even the cab floor was clean as a new truck. Nice install guys.
Your knowledge of equipment is amazing. That comes from years of working on those machines. Enjoy our videos much.
Thanks
Nice job with the winch install. I got a good laugh about the sticker being used on the back, if the paint was scratched! 🤣
You both do an amazing job!! Love watching your videos, ignore the haters there not worth talking about. Keep up the hard work you all do..
Thanks
On some of our 850s have dual cable winches on the back. But the dozers are only used for cable tensioning use. For Overhead Transmission Lines. Dozer winch line is hoisted (by helicopter)up to the top of the Transmission tower and winched tight to hold the Transmission Cable in place. Once its tight the dozer is just there to hold it for dead weight for days/weeks lol.
Yep I have bought a couple of those dozers with dual winches
You may want to take a piece of heater hose split it and put it on the end of the forklift forks to keep from scraping paint I did that for many years where I work thanks for the video
Got my Christmas card sent to Kevin last week . I hope the snail mail gets it to him from Canada
We will keep an eye out
We found your channel today. We have older John deere 750 crawler as well as a jd 410B extend a hoe. Watching your video gives knowledge and inspiration to repair the old girls. Thank you
Thanks for watching
+ C&C Equipment: Never get tired of watching/hearing the *_'stories'_* told by you & Kevin in these superbly produced videos. They are quite impressive. How-some-ever, they *_ALL_* manage to accomplish that - *IMPRESS!* Beyond the ability of mere words typed here to convey.
That established, this message will go on to advise that, due to continued excellence in public interest productions by a/the channel, not only does the video get the requested/welcomed _YT_ award, 'thumbs-up,' but also receives the highly prized *_"Old Curmudgeon"*+ award of three 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻from this reakky pleased viewer!
VERY well done, guys! These are much appreciated/looked forward to. *_YEA!!!_* So... Keep on keepin' on! 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you
Great job! Must be nice working on clean equipment! Kevin didn't even get dirty! LoL
Great video Clinton and Kevin keep them coming please
You Guys made a really neat job there of spooling the line on, I fear the Loggers will not share your enthusiasm for looking after the equipment. :-)
I liked the instruction manual for the fitting all those bolts! 🤣😂🤣 That winch could easily pull that dozer if it was stuck, I don't think some people realise the risk if they are not drummed properly like you did. Where In live in the local port a cable snapped on a winch, not as thick as the one you fitted, let's just say they were in the wrong place at the wrong time and there wasn't so I understand a whole person to pick up.
If not looked after, maintained properly or wound properly, they then become unstable and become extremely risky.
☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸❤️what I love most is u TEACH while repairing & ur humble & human with humor & joy . I ALWAYS find a huge smile on my face when watching. MAGA🇺🇸🇺🇸👆TS blessings to u & urs!!
Thanks
You can't beat having a bit of Craic on the job.Makes a bit of hard graft a bit more enjoyable
I am shocked that you get by with a knot in the cable, that used to work, but in today’s world it doesn’t. No tail chain? Oh well you do good work, now if we can get you to do a little more of it! lol All bs aside I think you run a top notch outfit! Merry Christmas!
Always a pleasure to watch you do your thing. Thanks very much for sharing.
I never get tired of watching you and Kevin working on equipment. Enjoy the channel so much.
Thanks
Is that what they look like new! Clean package and a great video to watch how the winch was installed.
Great video. Just wish you guys would put a little nev-seze on those new bolt for the next guy.
Good video Clint & Kevin . That 700K Deere has a Stribling Deere Dealer decal . That's our Deere Dealer here in West TN , Most of Arkansas & Most of State of MS . It needs a C&C decal also. 😎👍👍
Mack
Neat tidy machine luv the colour
That’s a sharp machine there! You two do amazing together. Every project I see you both working on turns out great and y’all have a good time while doing it. Thanks for bringing us along with you on these journeys.
Great job guys.
Another great video, really enjoy the way you guys work together. Thank you.
12/3/22. 2day new Winch install on (brand new) JD700K dozer. Great 'studio' set up for film & sound + beautiful/clean shop without (distracting) noises from variety of loud equipment at 'full throttle'...excellent video prep Clint! Also yur use of fast forward, overhead & other camera positions-with enhanced lighting (little red gizmo)- was much appreciated. Layout of all components (how many & cost?) on table provides viewers ( future customers?) with scope of this project. A+ video 2day! Stay safe & carry on!👍👍👍👍💪🔧🛠⚙️🔩🍺😊
Thanks
Great Job Guy's on getting that bigga Winch Install on the 700K Dozer.. front blade needs to be painted..

Nice video thanks guys and the NAPA bill payer. We got to get Kevin two of them mini-mini excavators. Tie one to each foot an look 👀 like a transformer
You guys make it look so easy, well done 👍🏻
They make buttons for the end of winch cables that have wedges that tension against the winch line. I’ve done it both ways and really like the simplicity of those.😊
ANOTHER PROFESSIONAL JOB DONE BY PROFESSIONALS. GREAT VIDEO GUYS.
Thanks
Great job guys! Always love watching whatever you work on. Great video. Thanks for sharing!
you guys make that look easy.nice job
Clinton and Kevin great video showing how it’s done! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Guys excellent job just a little tip for your customer's that want to keep the cable working good and lubed pump grease into a sock and squeeze around the cable as it is being spooled up then wipe of the excess that's how we do it on flight controls in the Airforce!
Enjoy watching 2 professionals at work and great variety of projects.
That's a really clean dozer. God bless
Great video! Clint you and your helpers do great work. Can’t wait to see what the customer decides to do. Happy New Year to everyone. Bob D

That fairlead looks simple enough. You could put your plasma cutter to work. By the way nice clean job install .👍👍👍

You guys just keep impressing me with your awesome videos. Keep up the good work it makes for some great entertainment.

Love Kevin's cat yellow boots
When I worked at Toyota....( 10 years ago ) It was cool, and EZ money to install dealer accessory's on brand new cars and trucks.... Slight difference from a new Camry/4Runner/Landcruiser vs BULLDOZER 🤣However theory and applications exactly the same... Brand new, No RUST/DIRT/GRIT..... Nice job..... Ez money 😮👌👍😊
Long time viewer. First time commenter. I think you guys are great. Enjoy watching all you do. Keep doin it. Its perfect. Merry Christmas to the gang and especially Kevin!
Now as a Special Purpose Vehicle Mechanic for the Air Force (Seven level) I was always told to have the Torgue specs out and to use them. Instead of just using an impact wrench to tighten them into place.
You guys do great work! Yes ignore the negative comments!
Proper cable T.V… another great video boys…
Thanks
Another great video from you two bro. Safe travels
Very nice dozer, nice install. Always look forward to whatever you and Turbo Kevin are into.
you need more lights in that awesome shop lol
great video thanks for all the efforts you put in making these great videos 👍👍👌
Another great job guys :)
Goodmorning Afternoon and evening all
I used to work for the phone company as a cable splicer. Sometimes we would have to unwind hundreds of feet of cable. The way we did it was to lay the cable off the reel in a figure 8 pattern. The winding and unwinding is taken care of by the figure 8. No kinks or binding. Don't know if it would work with steel cable. Depends on thickness or strand count.
Merry Christmas Clint and Kevin I love the videos keep up the amazing work
Thanks
Beautiful dozer the one piece of plant I never got to run

merry festive season to you and yours beerz n cheerz and kevin

Wow, I just did a search online to see how much a 4000S winch costs to buy ……… $23,000 without the cable or Fairlead. So this thing fully installed with what is needed is the price of a car. Clint you must have deep pockets to be able to keep this kind of stuff in stock. What really amazes me about all heavy equipment is it is massively expensive and then so much of it is poorly maintained and totally abused. I can’t understand how people spend the price of a house on a piece of equipment and then treat it like they have a weekend car rental from Hertz.
I discovered your channel recently and love it. You are incredible the work you can do and the vast knowledge you have.
I don’t know if you have done so already but I would love to know a little about your background and where or how you got so much knowledge and experience. John Deere equipment seems to be one of your big items ……. Did you live in a John Deere factory for 10 years 😂
Lol
Thanks
I just grew up working on our own stuff in our excavating business and yes it takes deep pockets to buy heavy equipment at auctions and stuff
cousin was wondering what the best grease is you find for pins,, they heard the Cat moly is the best. they got a Sany, powder coat is peeling on every 90 degree edge on it within two months, so mechanic is painting all around the doors already, when painting stuff, they take a piece of the cardboard from a cigarette package and roll it up and put it in the bolt holes etc,, works great
I am subscribed. I'm feeling kind-of-neglected!!! LOL
Thanks for this video Clinton, I was wondering why this machine is painted industrial yellow instead of the standard Deere green? I noticed Kevin was wearing his magic yellow painting boots so I'm looking forward to seeing what mischief he's been up to. You and Kevin make a great team! Cheers from Canada.
Yep
It’s a big one
Very Good JOB
Hold the phone here!! Did Banana Feet Kevin put that paper protective floor mat in the cab!! He better hope none of that yellow on his boots rubs off on the black interior😮 Nicely done guy’s, and thanks for sharing!! 👍🇺🇸
Thanks for watching
Great Vid👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Clint had an idea for some video's , why don't you build a complete Jeep out of your warehouse have Kevin do a super sweet paint job and either sell it or do a you tube raffle while your building it. Don't know if that works money wise but it sounded like a good idea.
Yep
I have that idea rolling in my head just have to figure out how to set it all up
Kick it over to the business manager and have her figure it out.
Hey guys nice video ,I'm amazed at your cool tempers ,come on tell the truth give us a blooper show to end the year on a high note ,if you want to see an Aussie in a workshop check out Cutting Edge Engineering his blooper real at the end of the episode is hilarious ,I don't think you will be offended ,Anyway guys really like the shop shows
Cheers Kym
Adelaide
Lol
Maybe next time
Kurtis is just not a real good public speaker. He does eventually get through the descriptions often with much editing help from Karen and the Safety Officer Homie. But he isn't selling his public speaking he is selling his extremely interesting machinery reworking skills.
@@kenore4003 yep
Most of my takes are one and done
It’s 100% real
I might have to redo one clip every now and then but very seldom
I’d say less then one per video
Sometimes I don’t say things quite right but I just roll with it
@@C_CEQUIPMENT You make yourself clear so that's what is important. Kurtis gets interrupted by the train, birds and just p,ain't old losing his way. His wife keeps him on track though.
Kevin Kevin Kevin having a bad day bud wrong hole bud. Clinton go easy on him it his first day LOL 😆. Keep trying Kevin paydays coming. Great job guy's you two always do great. Great videos
Good lookin 700 K. Great Dozers
How about that Kevin
He really does a good job doesn’t he. And seems always in good cheer
He does
nice job
😊
That 700 looks like a 650 size , I'm not even familiar with the new number sizes
Good to see you Fella’s
Just saying you need a microphone for Kevin for Christmas ??
Awesome!
She's a Beastie mama thanks for sharing
👍🏻👍🏻
Is there a hitch back there with winch on??? loading a reel you need a swivel on end of the line to let kinks come out of line.
If I win the lottery I'm buying one with rubber tracks. Just to run to the store on. More fun than a golf cart.
You can bolt a hitch on but it hangs out
The roller fairlead we put on has a hole in it
