Another great job by you Hunter and the team.
I used to be a splicer with the phone company (GTE California, now Verizon). When we would unwind cable off a reel, sometimes in the hundreds of feet, the trick to rewinding it on the ground is the make figure 8's with the wire as you restack it. This would work in your application if you needed to store it, for example. Love your videos. Learned a lot from them. Keep up the good work.
We do most of our fabricating and building in-house .... when we get somewhere we are unsure of we call in big brother! .... awesome watching stuff come together!
I’ve never seen how cable goes on so it was interesting. I think what you guys do is amazing. The experience and knowledge you have on various equipment is also amazing. Love the channel. Wished I lived closer to your shop.
Thanks
I know loggers will do some crazy stuff sometimes, but running that dozer without a backlash screen would take some big brass ones! Best ones I've seen were made out of rock crusher screen deck screens. Nice install tho!
The new owner actually bought a set of screens for it shortly after he bought it
Damn Guys..That looked like a couple first timers doing that Cable..LOL.The First rap is the most imprtant part of winch spooling.I work on the pipeline and If I would of ever tried spooling a new cable like that. I wouldnt be pipeling...LOL...UGH....Ive spooled a few new ones in my time. It gets memorized like that and youll never be able to get it out of that cable...LOL Im only suggesting .. Because what they cost its definitely worth spooling it right the first time. Even though the logger may trash the rest of it. That first row is important.. Im going to have Nightmeres tonight....LMAO....LOL...HAHA.
lol
Great work fellas.
Yup loggers are kinda wild and crazy i worked for a couple them Wyoming and Montana fun times when you’re young but never had a kitty-kitty that nice too skid logs you are going to make some logger feel safe hell of mount job to me you’re a master welder 👍 that’ll be on there for a bit another good lesson 😎🇺🇸NY
Nice build. The cab is aching to have a wire mesh enclosure on the rear face. A flying cable end would be nasty.
just found your channel about a week ago its already one of my favorites yall do amazing work love the winch videos keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching
Left hand side arm looks like it is touching the winch, great video.
They are close for sure
You all are the Best Awesome I really Enjoy Your Video's
As always from start to finish you have another video that's great to watch and always very informative. Thanks to Chris and Kevin and Hunter.
Thanks for sharing another great video glad all of the bolts lined up for the last part of this video!!
Thanks for watching
My new favorite channel Clint 👍👍
Nice clean organized shop, cool project, good employees, great video. 👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks
Fun video Clint…
Good vid, like the American made equipment. Our country still has it. Thanks guys
Thanks for watching
With the winch added on I wouldn't have let it leave without back and side windows or screens. Cable is wicked when it breaks and could chop operators head off before they even know what was going on.
For sure
Buyer did not want at time but we talked him into it afterwards
This is a great example of how "not to unwind and rewind" a cable! I was quite surprised to see your employees unwind the cable...the wrong way! Surely, someone there knows how to properly unwind...and rewind a cable! Do better! Blue Sky's.
Another excellent video. The education you are giving your boys can’t be bought.Teaching them to work hard and instilling common sense. This day and age common sense is a thing in the past. Those boys will grow up and become a better person than half the kids out there today..Keep up the good work.
For sure
Thanks
Y'all do awesome work!!! 😁
All the videos are great keep them coming.
Thanks, will do!
I want them longer! Under ten minutes have no interest! But a movie length is optional for my taste!
If I were gonna run it I would want a screen on the back of the roll over protection to keep the cable from hitting me if it broke or Came loose. Other than that it looks good!
For sure
The buyer opted for screens after this
Hey , why not put a EYE at the end in case you want to put an extention or a hook? It wont go anywhere and you can swage it on for a tight permanant fit .Put a tow hook on it and you can hook it on the winch when not in use. Use PPE GLOVES , SAFETY GLASSES.
Lookin’ good.
Great Videos boys!!!! Interesting!! Keep em coming Clint.
Thanks
Nice job keep the videos coming
Great job, and nobody was hurt. Safety first.
Better help on the first part. Lol. Great job.
Thanks
Another amazing 5 ⭐ video keep up the awesome work God bless y'all oh the next one y'all you tie it to Larry's crown Vic LoL 😂

Thanks
Love the content
Dang it clint. Dropping tem dimes aint cha bud. Great welding job man
nice dozer clind
Yall fubar d that cable winding job. A 4x4 a bfh to seat the cable on the drum and it will seat after as you reel it in. Or watch Ron Pratt s video on replacing cable on Tatter
For sure
That was not our best attempt at it
Great Content and for me, your world is interesting to watch, and learn sum the in's and outs.
Good job
Damn, I love welding!
You guys need a 10 or so foot high stand at start finish line of your race track so that you can see cars properly
I've got a 650J with a slow leak coming out of the vent on the hydraulic pump, so I assume it needs a seal kit installed on it. Have you got a video on removing the hydraulic pump on that style of dozer? Thanks for all the great content. 👍
I don’t but it’s gonna be about the same thing as the 700
Crank your seat off and take back plate off
And you should be good to go
Yo did a good job they go out looking pretty good I can't say how they come in
Thanks for the video I have been a owner operator have a small excavating company from 18 to 65 years old retired now equipments all gone I used to enjoy working on it as long as it wasn't a big rush LOL. And I miss working on things and tinkering on the equipment watching you fulfills that need LOL. It is still a learning experience watching your videos some of this stuff I've never ran into so thanks. )-[@#=]
Cool
Thanks for watching
Nice one guys and cheers for posting bro. Safe travels
Nice job on the winch install
Thanks
It was good to see you guys paint those exposed surfaces this time. I would suggest you to learn the correct handling and installation of winch cables, I assure you you are not doing it correctly.
Nice job.
Thanks
Great job and great video. Thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend.
Thanks for watching
Oh ya we could definitely do something with that setup!!! A bulldozer skidder!!!
Some kind of head ache rack really would be nice .
Oh ya!!!
From England Good Work Guys
Thanks for watching
Keep the videos coming. That is some nice aftermarket items for the dozer! USA!
Thanks
nice install
👍interesting how to
U guys do good work and videos
You guys really do a nice job!
Thanks
glad you use USA made parts..
Make a swivel for that wind on, get the twist out some, I've loaded a lot of fishing line,
Great video again! Keep them coming! Also, do you do tours as my son lives in Bloomington IN and we get there quite often.
If your in the area stop by
I am in and out allot but you never know
Me I'm not too much on john deere they have good equipment but when it breaks it takes forever for them to fix it and the way they set them up its impossible to find anyone local that can diagnose and fix the computer components
#CandCequipment so when are we gonna see the install of the RIPPER on #dirtperfect DOZER❓❓❓
once again , cool video and nice to see different content. Maybe you can talk Mike into getting a limb deflector on his as well👍😂👍
Ripper video is coming out dec 22
It’s gonna be a good one
@@C_CEQUIPMENT cool and thanks for the update👍👍
I'm surprised the log arch mounts don't bolt on like the rest of the kit.
Next time put the cable on a fork and pull the end like a roll of wire letting the roll of cable spin, may stop the twisting and kinks. Stay safe
Get a magnetic base for your go pro so you can use both hands.
Always good stuff,But I can see Hunter is missed when he's not there to help.
He is for sure
But I have a good group of guys that help also!
i cant believe this knot in the end!!!! is this the normal procedure??? there are professional ways to do this!!!
That’s normal
what do you think of those front mount snowblowers for pickups made in pennsylvania
Not sure if I’ve seen those
Who was the welder ..? You never do down hand with that thick material …
How was the overhead ..?
good video good job
Thanks
Nicely done!! Cheers!;-)!!
Thanks
Comment below!
Firstly, miss you in the scene Hunter !!! Good luck at School. Secondly, sorry "Master Welder" but I would think you'd have gone stick weld on steel that thick ... triple passes with a MIG won't get you the core penetration needed ... but maybe it'll hold for the Warranty Period. IMHO. Hellava winch and video ... that is some kind of Hoss ... sure would be nice to see her in action ???
I think your other helper is a better forklift driver then the one in this video...LOL..The other driver the limb riser didnt make the limb riser Swing...LOL...HAHA...I like the limb risers on them Great jjob onthe 700. And Great Video. I was just joking about your driver...LOL
Thanks 👍
You need to learn how to weld!!. Once you finish a pass you need to clean the slag covering off then make a new pass. This makes a clean weld and a stronger weld. This is standard practice on all thick metals.
For once, could of used a farmers eye splice in end with bull hook but nice otherwise... not complaining, just the way I would of done it
That was a cool video. Loggers are not loggers without a winch!
Just wondering where you source your paint for the Deere’s. They surely look top notch!
We get it from sweets paint in Florida
Thank you!
Anyone can buy paint, it takes a guy like Kevin to put it on right! Good job Kevin, your skills with paint is A +
👍
Sorry to ask such a dumb question......winches for pickups vary in size say, 5,000 to 20,000, what size would the one you put on this dozer be, if there is such a number..100,000.
It’s not a dumb question at all
This is a 40,000lb winch
The electric winch ratings in my opinion are just not the same as a hydraulic or gear drive pto winch
Hope that helps
@@C_CEQUIPMENT Thanks, thats pretty powerful equipment, interesting to see yall working on them, looks like you have been at it for awhile.
nice job
Thanks
Nice.
Thanks
I don't work heavy equip, so what is the electric connection on winch for. Great video's.
It’s for a low oil pressure light
AAh. Thank you .
I take it loggers don't want an eye at the ends of their cables? Can the knot just go on those sliders to make a choker? I'm obviously not a logger. LOL.
The sliders have a hole for chokers
Nice job just one question why only 100ft?
That’s what our loggers use around here
I believe if you had Hunter helping you'd finshed sooner
👍👍👍👌
What about a cable Gard screen on the back of the cab
They didn’t want one at the time but have since bought one
At time 8:42 you had a cameraman holding his cell phone "vertically". When you hold the phone vertically...you get a "Tall and Skinny" video. Please hold your phone horizontal when video recording...this will give you a "wide screen" video instead of the Tall and Skinny video as seen in this video. Thanks for the great content and PLEASE let your people know about the Widescreen mode. Blue Sky's.
😀
Have you installed any winch line tail chains
I have not
They should welded USA on it.
