I once visited a sunk ship in a snorkel tour. During that time I already had thalassophobia. But I wanted to try to confront my fear as I used to love the sea. And so I arrive to the zone where the ship was, nothing could be seen from the surface. Then I put my head under the water, looked at what was below me and I automatically went like "Hell noo 💀💀" and I had a panic attack and went back to the ship lmao. It was even more scarier than I expected, looking at that abyss, and seeing at the end an old sunk ship...The worst part is the ship made sounds, and they were terrifying, like it was an alive creature. So this video remembers me to that. The speed of the video makes it even scarier, good job.
I was studying, to me, what is causing the source of the fear, when looking at the ocean or a sea creature. And I concluded - it was that immensive empty void you see when you look underwater. You can't see anything there, but you know there are many living creatures within. And that drives a man bonkers. At least my percpective.

For anyone wondering, the ship itself is the WW2 Battleship Scharnhorst (the main mast being located aft of the hangar is a good indicator that it's Scharnhorst and not her sister ship Gneisenau)
For your upcoming works based on this phobia you could add propellers closeups or zooms, or just focus on them moving, those things really give me the chills
I find this interesting because at one end i feel scared about this and just imagining it showing up right beneath me from the depts. But on the other hand the idea of being on that ship just roaming around while it is "sailing" would be quite cool. Nobody knows you are down there on your ship, while the ones that see you question their own sanity.

This is a classic one!! Just recently discovered this channel, but I feel like I have seen this video around a few times. One thing that could have added to it a little bit: When something massive is moving near you in water, you are going to move too (because the water is being pushed around) which might look a bit like the camera being jerked around a whole lot when the object is near, and less when the object is further away.

I think the problem with the speed is that there is no water movement from our pov so the scene doesn't really make sense. Unless the ghost ship is ethereal I guess.. which doesnt make it nearly as scary imo.
