I’m glad you showed the location of the snap coupler release. My grandfather had the bell and release but no drawbar so he never mounted it. I finally found a like new drawbar and plan to install all of it when I get the engine back together. I enjoy watching your videos because they are very informative!
Good day Boy interesting. Those gears in my opinion look like new , never been ground? When we bought our WD they said trans. had been rebuilt, but going down hill with baler & wagon behind it would jump out of low gear, any idea what would cause that? Thanks good video
Don gears were in great shape had very minor wear. Likely urs were worn just enough to pop out when under load. Some will kick out just by pressure on the tranny from engine torque (those are worn severe) others minor like what your sounded to be.
Do you feel its doable to reinstall the shift tower on a WD45 like this? With the steering wheel and assembly just moved to the side, instead of completely disassembled and out of the way. Does draining the gear oil out of the transmission help or can it fairly easily be done with it still in?

Thanks Randy glad it was useful appreciate you watching and following along. If you have any more questions just ask!
Very cool, not sure if I need to be in here yet but I like it
Does the same process apply for a WC?
Is it possible to put shift lever in after tower is installed
Yes I believe so, don’t know the exact details on what gear it may need to be in but should be possible.
Excellent video

Yes it can be done. The oil level is low enough where you can see what you need to. Just take your time and be patient.
