You're welcome.
Now to answer the question, I need to know which method did you use previously. Normal EXT4 method should work now. This f2fs was mandatory for 2-3 builds when I made this video.
Is your storage decrypted? Or encrypted?

FOD wasn't working there in the last build and it was the sole reason I moved back to A12. I'll flash this build once I get back home and by then another build may arrive from Joey 😁
Now you don't have to switch to f2fs either. EXT4 works as well with latest build as usual haha

I was wondering why my phone stuck on recovery even I installed the rom correctly.
I learned that it is required to flash storage to F2FS from your video. Thank you!
This was for specific update, now they also support back the ext4 as well
But Recently with latest update I am also getting bootloops so wait or flash a different roms as of now I would say

The ROM in the link is not what you show in the video. The one in the link is not compatible.
After changing it to a f2fs partition, if i want to install a custom Hyper OS ROM, do i have to change the partition again?

Hi, I dont have and USB Pen drive. Can I use my PC to move the rom and other files to the phone after change to f2fs. I dont know if after change I can move file to internal storage or not. Thank you.

I want to flash this ROM. My k20 pro is running stock MIUI given when I bought the phone. Will I have ext4 or F2FS storage by default?
By default if you use official orangefox recovery, it should be EXT4.
I am on EXT4 too now. As both are supported
My device is encrypted..and I don't want to change unencrypted...then what can I do.?

I think yes. But lately I don't trust twrp for K20P that much. I recommend ofox at least.

Im from 12.1 encrypted using twrp. Steps I did was Format Data-reboot to recovery-wipe cache & dalvik cache-flash firmware-flash EvoX-change part to f2fs-reboot system.

What is f2fs actually
It's a data partition format. Like NTFS, Fat32 etc
how do i decrypt my storage ?
Format data, type yes.
Once done, Reboot recovery once.
Flash rom, flash dfe. Reboot to system.
Now you have decrypted storage.
Ofcourse I recommend latest stable OrangeFox recovery.

@@KTNTECH thanks, it took me 4 hours to update evox because of slow sourceforge servers and while trying to update OTA my device got stuck on bootloop. Do you think it is because of encrypted storage ?
Depends on how you update.
If decrypted then I recommend to dirty flash the build. That's it.
Always download the update seperately/manually.
If you see it's downloading very slow, stop downloading for few hours.
Try after 3-4 hours it should be good to download later with good speed as slow download can corrupt the file as well

@@mastsmokes6581 Flash the specific dfe mentioned in description. Also who told you to wipe? I never said to wipe anything. If you don't follow instructions properly I can't help

@@mastsmokes6581I can't provide any other link except that telegram one. You can flash without dfe. That will encrypt your storage.
Follow the same guide. Just skip the dfe flashing.

No it won't damage anything. If wanna revert back to ext4, just format data and reboot recovery. Then flash as usual.
