- 'Jericho' is my favourite track from my favourite Album of all time 'Experience'. I was only 14 when I first purchased it, but was blown away by it's fast breakbeats, and rugged bass-lines. All the characteristics I still look for in my favourite music of today, which is (thanks to The Prodigy!)Drum 'N Bass. 'Jericho' is also still the best opening to an album I have ever heard!. While some albums start slow and end fast, 'Experience just hammers at your ear drums from start to finish!. A masterpiece!.

I'm 49 still love the prodigy after all I've followed them most of my life 🎼🌞❤🌞🎼 respect ..

PRODIGY. BEST MUSIC.
I m 43 and still love prodigy
this is when music got exciting.....
The singer informs us that we must keep on dancing. He also felt the bass come down on him.
FartingFoulFarts this noise:- Why am I laughing so hard
one of those random things someone just comes out with and cracks everyone up !! quality ,lol
Those lines were samples from the Jungle Brothers track "What U Waitin 4" ☝️
Saw them live in Brighton last night!!
OMFG they still have it, bigger and better..........
Great night, great band, perfect for the jilted generation of us 40+ lovers of hard core!!
brilliant so glad u was born early 70s so was old enough to love this music
Born 82. Still enjoyed it as a kid haha
The Prodigy are still one of the most exciting acts of my generation (im in my early 40’s) when this lot arrived on the scene nothing was the same agin and thats in a good way, i had something to relate to, the music was bold, brash and didnt give a frig who didn’t liked it. this was them and what they did for dance music changed the game. Jericho,Charly,no good, firestarter, everybody in the place, girls the list goes on and each one raised the bar for everyone else in dance music. LEGENDS !!!!
had this album in my works van in my 20,s. driving from plymouth to bristol, down to cornwall and back home again 5 nights a week. this shit made me go flat out every where. im in my 40,s now and still coming back. im not so flat out now though :)
Their music is great for long drives, very upbeat!
Discovered these guys in 1996 with Firestarter, heard Voodoo People on the radio the next day, and bought the Firestarter single and Music for the Jilted Generation a day after that. Two of the best purchases I ever made. Prodigy are one of my favorite groups. Got me through high school and made my car rave central. "Feel the bass come down me, baby!"
This is history. Track 1, An Absolutely incredible beginning to a music Revolution!
this song will forever be a banger
The guys are great even now, Keith, Maxim and Liam are absolutely different and this combination always wins. Liam Howlett is a composing genius, he is the real prodigy in full meaning, in his style he even doesn't have to prove that, because on this field he doesn't have any equal music personality to compete with... unfortunately and fortunately at the same time.
I've loved these guys since the late 80's/early 90's..I was only 10. I'm now 35 and my love just grows stronger..Aah my boys
Same here same here
***** Yes they did in the late 80's..Underground!
+rebeccam9 I don't think so.
Martiiin2008 Err yes they did..Don't argue with me
+rebeccam9 I don't think so again. :-)
id just sit in my car, stoned and faded as can be and blast this song, awsome jam
I think it was back in '94-95 when i heard these tracks for the first time and it just blew my mind back then, as they do in the present.
Liam Howlett is a true Mastermind of electronic music.
Unbelievable tunes that rise above a lot of tunes made today.
Big Ups for Prodigy.
I immediately feel a kind of connection because I was also born in 78, also discovered the Prodigy, of which I am still a huge fan, at the same age, and also have drum n bass as my favorite music genre!
1:19- 1:53 is just absolutely phenomenal
Not many talented people from Essex but Liam Howlett has made up for that with his pure genius! The tune that got me into rave in the late 80's was House Arrest by Krush but the Prodigy got me going out to raves with this one. Happy Dayz!
who wants some jericho!!! i remember this tune used to be on the jukebox in my local. used to stick it on and have a rave in the pub hahaha
Respect from Ukraine! This music is my favourite when I'm whas teenager! P.S. Sorry, I speak English bad
This is such a rare kind of album, in that it did really well but didn't compromise the scene. I think The Prodigy had been properly underground-spanked for "Charlie" and quickly learned their lesson!
Jericho is a solid hardcore track (with even better production than most). Maybe not as dirty as some but, like the album, reflected the rush of excitement and innovation of the period. I personally don't really care about ANYthing else they made after this, but this first record is kind of a perfect rave diamond!
You, sir, deserve a medal for the best description on YT!
You have my like!
I had a school trip to Japan in 2004-2005 I think....I bought the Album over there...so I am in that respect WAAAY outta time but I spent the whole trip of two weeks listening to this album along with others but I was blown away and TOTALLY agree Jericho is the best track on the album and to START an album off is KILLER!!
Never too late to discover new music my friend.
And never too late to respond to your comment too.
no real words to describe this wicked heavenly tripnotic gospel
I was 14 when I got this too! On cassette tape!
The intro .... and the bone splintering spine crushing BREAK is just amazing!
Legend absolutely legend. Rave on brothers and sisters!
GOOD FOR YOU, I WAS PLAYING THIS FROM MY SUN WOOFER WHEN I WAS 17 IN 1991, I HAD A MK2 FORD ESCORT MEXICO AND DROVE IT TO STERNS IN WORTHING TO WATCH THE PRODIGY. CUT THE MID RANGE DROP THE BASS!
I have this on vinyl and it is DOPE.
I bet it is!!
I loved this album when it came out. I still love it, but I loved it then too
Seen them love in the early 90's . great to hear air horns going of at the intro of jericho
Ahh, this take me back to the days, when I was not on this planet. I like space travel, I think I might take it up again! 3-2-1 LIFT OFF!!!!! Ha Ha Ha, He He He He!!! Rock & Roll over for a journey to the unknown!!!
"keep on dancin' keep on dancing" classic
Among several rave/house/techno tracks that got me dancing in my teens last decade. I wish I was around for the good electronic sub-genres that were big back when Gen X was having fun creatively.
Glad to see the OG Prodigy fans posting up. This and No Good are by far my fav's. Experiance ALL THE WAY!
This track blows everything else out of its way!!! As iconic and fresh as daises!!!! 🌻🐝
these trademark high-pitch samples always added some fun crazyness to whole feel.
I simply love it, one of the best Prodigy songs ever
My name is Jericho and it's makes it even more awesome!!
i fecking love it since the first time i heard it :) massive tunage :) and still as great as ever :) :)
Had this on cassette back in '94.
Shit, that was another world altogether back then!
Oohhh that white ferrari extacy!!!! Dancing, dancing, dancing!!!
Its been, I'd say at least 15 yrs since ive listened to this
The reason why we have dance dnb etc the prodigy take a bow legends
if you wonna go that road then i'd say Herbie Hancock.
Well Prodigy were the commercial edge of the oldskool rave scene back then, let be fair ;)
da pustimo suzu kad krene jericho!
+Deda Djedo I da se pobijemo! :D
Gde su stranci da se bijemo?!!!!
Anyone who is not from Balkan doesnt get it :D
ahahahahah jaooo svugde nas ima ko dzubre xD xD
Zivio prodigzi !
Quite simply the best album ever made. And that includes Never Mind the Bollocks.
Still listening here since its release. Still has the same effect.
Thank you Liam Howlett.
Been reacquainting myself with the Prodigy's first (and best) album.
Its funny, because my mate Duncan and I were discussing it and recounting our 'Experience' of listening to this an the whole album for the first time as youngsters.
My sister was a big raver, and i nicked a few tapes of hers, but until I listened to this album I did not really 'understand' Rave.
This gave me a real introduction and certainly lit the flames of love for Dance music I have which have never gone away.
This song has some king of dark atmosphere about it
Classic Album, Classics Memories.. :)
I played the crap out of the Prodigy's tunes back in the day. Raw music, as it was.
I used to pop wheelies on my BMX doing my paper round with this tape playing over and over on my walkman... Those were the days...
I was disappointed with Experience when I got it. Then I listened to it a few more times. Now I consider it one of the best albums ever released. By anyone.
he really was a genius at this kinda music, prodigy still great after all these years
JoeStephens78 great up load! many thanks! my experience of this is nearly the same as yours! But my best and rich friend at the time had technics SL10s and a massive technics amp system etc. He also was living in a historic lodge mies from anywhere, imagine the scene an old lodge in the relative wilderness kitted out gear that screamed "play the prodg at high volume and bass!" his understanding mum used to bring us milk and cookies several times a day! it lasted 2 yrs, the best of my life!
Sounds great. I can imagine it.
totally brilliant opening tune to my personal favourite Prodigy album
This is the most underated Prodigy tune. I still cain it reguraly.
First song from the first album...the rest is history...and masterpieces!
When you love a tune when your 11 and still love it at 30 you know its good!!!!!
After first buyin MFTJG, then FatoftheLand I bought this and this is the first album I rolled on ecstasy to. Good days of being 17 and listening to this, Goldie and Roni Size.
one of the best experience tracks
Круть!!!

Keith Flint - what a f**kin' front man!! LEGEND!!!!!!
liam howlett was behind this beautiful work... keith and maxim and leeroy were just dancers
+Gay Switzerland I think
I can't stop listening to it! Somebody stop me or I'll spend my life like this D:
Man I was the same age. My mate played this album and I didn't even like dance music but this blew me away.
'Jericho' is my favourite track from my favourite Album of all time 'Experience'. I was only 14 when I first purchased it, but was blown away by it's fast breakbeats, and rugged bass-lines. 'Jericho' is also still the best opening to an album I have ever heard!. While some albums start slow and end fast, 'Experience just hammers at your ear drums from start to finish!. A masterpiece!.

from all prodigy this piece is the best
Beast of a tune
This track opened my world to rave / electronic music. The whole album is so f--in exquisite! Liam still is top notch, but the albums 1 to 4 have a rock solid place in my heart when it's about raving, running, jumping stupid around.
Happy times. :)
prodigy made me love breakbeats, hence why i only listen only to dnb and breakbeat nowadays.
absolute monster of a track, probably one of my favorite and in my opinion best prodigy track from that time, absolute stomper thanks to prodigy i too love my drum and bass!
used to have this album on CD class old time tunes.
Got this album the week it came out, yet forgotten how good Jericho was. Liam Howlett at his absolute best. Love the Prodigy just as much today.
Wow, it's been a while since I listened to this track! So original - Liam, total genius
здесь изображён альбом группы, с которого я начал... эх. после этого эльбома начинал покупать ВСЕ альбомы и понеслось)) я с вами, ребята:)
Still sounds fresh in 2018 🔥✊🔥
Am I the only one who thinks that Jericho is a perfect tune for a horror movie?
I love this one, but 'A weather experience' is my fav
Yeah that's one is trippy. mine too.

Dance Nation 92 - 'keep on dancing" nuff said
Keep on dancing...
So true, maybe the best prodigy album, second only to maybe Music for the Jilted Generation. All the albums prodigy makes are so different from each other, but yet their still so so good!
This was one of my favorite songs when I was 17, at the point to almost make me delirate. LOL
Визитная карта The Prodigy! Классика.
