This whole album has been a whirlwind upon discovering it properly just a month ago it is an absolute powerhouse and brilliantly composed album. Liam Howlett being a 20ish year old in this era is just absolutely mind blowing. This has to be their most evolutionary and progressional work epitomising a whole new early 1990s genre - Breakbeat
"Let's jet out where we'll cruise at hyperspeed, I got the beat, I got the beat, and that's all we need." This whole album is golden, Liam Howlett is godlike
+Sean Tyler The Prodigy Experience is a masterpiece, still my favourite Prodigy album , they have produced so many cracking albums, possibly Invaders Must Die is my 2nd favourite.
I still cant believe how good prodigy's first album was. The sound on this album was 7 or 8 years ahead of its time. I remember hearing this album for the first time in 1997 after fat of the land came out and I though this was their new album. Blew my mind that this came out 5 years prior.
1st go to see them in 91 at Brixton and many times since ! ..Dance / club / rave scene owes them huge respect! They do it live !!! There was Kraftwerk...then Prodigy hyper punk breakbeats etc ....& They own dance scene history .. Sorted
20 years ago when I was 13 is when I first heard the prodigy experience album, i was forever hooked on dance music after that i can still put it on and it still sounds fresh.
duuuude, i just discovered the name of this tune today listening to a discography i just got from the prodigy, i remember hearing the "hyppa hyppa" for the first time on nickelodeon on an invader zim comercial when i was a little kid!!, i remember i didnt know how to use the internet at that age since internet sucked at that time in chile, so i just had it stucked in my head for a long time.
I was 13 years old when i heard this,as it was underground cyberpunk klick in my head and i was never normal after that hahahahhaha. I continue with this fast and aggresive, faster and more aggressive until i became a metallhead hahahhaahha
I literally thought I was going to die dancing to prodigy in Hollywood venue back around 96. Best 40$ I spent ever and a 6 hour drive and back all in the same day !!
"--lumbia now 9 times the speed of sound" "Roger... Roger that, Dan, I've got a solid TACAN locked on..." "--pre-planned trajectory are... --pre-planned trajectory are..." "Roger... Roger..."
sounds like its been speeded up a bit...love it stil tho, no other generation will get 2 experience what it was like back then, foning the numbers meetin the convoys in the car parks & gettin 2 the party! Closest thing u got now is the squat party scene but everyones 2 busy tweetin owot ever 2 dance miss those days man miss those days
Sorry to add to this old thread. But, this song has been removed from Amazon Music and Spotify recently. Apparently, it's due to new copyright registries. Other Prodigy songs have been removed, also. It's a sad state of affairs when an individual can find an out of rights sample, copyright it and have it removed from the internet. We should all keep hold of our physical media!
@sriwilai I've never been able to decide between Experience and Jilted Generation. Experience is awesome upbeat stuff, Jilted is an altogether darker sound. Each are the best album to me, depending on my mood.
Matts Mom nope they didn't sample the doors, the prodigy song, woman voice sampled a new machine part 1 by pink floyd, their live version of jericho also samples sorrow by pink floyd, also finally in the prodigy's claustrophobic sting, theres a sample from pink floyds time, i'm not mistaken at all.
I have the "Everybody in the place" CD single, but i don't know why or where/who from, which has the title track, Crazy man, and Energy Flow (which is the part 1), so i never knew there was a part 2
I can't believe this has so few views. Prodigy Experience was their best album without a doubt!!
Music for the jilted generation is my 1#, but this almost as a tie to that. Their best work was the ealier years.
Legendary album
@@jennsusner4895 yeah, i would have to agree, jilted felt just as raw but not quite as playful as some of the tracks on experience (expanded)
It's a legendary album man , best
It really was not - it easily sounds the most dated, and 'thin' of their first 3 albums
This whole album has been a whirlwind upon discovering it properly just a month ago it is an absolute powerhouse and brilliantly composed album. Liam is the Kraftwerk of the 90s.
Conenion Electronic punks that's what they were
Probably you dont know what a breakbeat is.
Amen
"Let's jet out where we'll cruise at hyperspeed, I got the beat, I got the beat, and that's all we need."

Let's jet out, we'll cruise at hyperspeed. No where.
This is how we'll goose at hyperspeed...;)

This album blew my 17 year old mind back in the 90s
My sister bought me this album for Christmas in '92, I was 7 years old. I still love it, opened my eyes to all sorts of new music.
Smedley Belkin I wish I had a sister like that....
Ur sister rocks
Gosh, this is truly masterpiece, even after years it kickss like in the 90s.
Best Prodigy track of all time, so much energy, and conjures up images
this track in particular used to drive my mum crazy blasting out of my bedroom when i was 16 years old in 92'!
A massive eye opener to EDM back then. I was the same age as you. My Mom felt the same pain :)
1st go to see them in 91 at Brixton and many times since ! ..Dance / club / rave scene owes them huge respect! They do it live !!! There was Kraftwerk...then Prodigy hyper punk breakbeats etc ....& They own dance scene history .. Sorted
Doesn't get any harder than this. Fucking brutal.
I have actually. Used to live in Spain when it was big. I guess what I meant it's hard but still sounds good unlike most gabber :)
+damndj yes gabber is high bpm but that doesn't mean it's as hard as this type of heavy breakbeat lol
1992! One of the best albums ever still!
20 years ago when I was 13 is when I first heard the prodigy experience album, i was forever hooked on dance music after that i can still put it on and it still sounds fresh.
Ditto fella. 13 when I first heard it too. 30 years later still one of my favourite albums
hahaha youre old
Beautiful craft by amazing artists. Rest in peace keith. Much love
i love this track so much it is unique . i have never hear something similar before !
The whole album is like that. It's a milestone in music.
It's a mixture between Breakbeat Hardcore and Hard Techno.
(I think)

I have always wondered why this one never became a single, got a videoclip or at least got played live, this is almost the best song on the record!

I literally thought I was going to die dancing to prodigy in Hollywood venue back around 96. Best 40$ I spent ever and a 6 hour drive and back all in the same day !!
I'm going to punch my keyboard. Whatever comes out is this track's fault. Here goes... bhjybj
"--lumbia now 9 times the speed of sound"
"Roger... Roger that, Dan, I've got a solid TACAN locked on..."
"--pre-planned trajectory are... --pre-planned trajectory are..."
"Roger... Roger..."
I wanna build a space ship after listening to this song.
Super987987 i know, makes me wanna dig into my whackadoo electrogravity PDF files and build a flying saucer.
Кайф!! 🎉😊😊😊
One of the rare occasions where "part 2" is better than part 1 IMO
if this album , was released today,,, it would shit on everything ;)
6 years later and it still would ;)
Dope as fuuuck to this day

Imagine if there was never a prodigy!! .

Closest thing u got now is the squat party scene but everyones 2 busy tweetin owot ever 2 dance miss those days man miss those days

@sriwilai I've never been able to decide between Experience and Jilted Generation. Experience is awesome upbeat stuff, Jilted is an altogether darker sound. Each are the best album to me, depending on my mood.
one the best
💜
Я старше альбома всего на две недели)) самый лютый кач именно в этой песне, как по мне.
Let's jet out, we'll cruise at hyperspeed!!!!! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!
How did that go down?
👍
puff super cool!
I find G-force part 1 a lot more epic, but this still wrecks.
Ain't nothin like at the prodigy experience singles.
Keep up! Keep-keep, keep up, keep up!
Anyone know where the vocal sample comes from?
I always thought it was Leila K
If God exists, then this is exactly what would sound his music
Unprofor trucker 1992 Bosnia give me this track I was the first to have this album on cassete
i was born in '93, had no idea music kicked like this at that time

Moving out 9 times the speed of sound...
great album and still going strong to this day :)
Hey guys,...why compare the parts?! they're mean to be heard together!
Emotion rave music
Nine times the speed of sound.
Hip hip hip hip hipa hipa hipa....
eeriest record of all times.
electronic pink floyd... and beyond
funnily enough they sampled pink floyd
liam carroll
maybe you can tell witch part?
liam carroll don't you mean the Doors? Or did they sample the Floyd too? I'm a massive Floyd and Prodigy fan :D
Matts Mom nope they didn't sample the doors, the prodigy song, woman voice sampled a new machine part 1 by pink floyd, their live version of jericho also samples sorrow by pink floyd, also finally in the prodigy's claustrophobic sting, theres a sample from pink floyds time, i'm not mistaken at all.
liam carroll i know all those tracks very well indeed, so i'll take a listen and let you know if i agree :)
I never even knew there was a "Part 2" of G-force
i think part 1 was a B-Side to this, as part 1 is featured on the expanded album.
I have the "Everybody in the place" CD single, but i don't know why or where/who from, which has the title track, Crazy man, and Energy Flow (which is the part 1), so i never knew there was a part 2
ah, that all makes sense now. count yourself lucky though, could be an original XL Recordings album that was never published!
This pwns part 1 1 000 000 times :D
випа випа випа ,как помню свой 96
! yasss
i like the part between 0:00 and 5:16 :)
