The Oregon one is kind of a joke. He was committed to Cal forever but got a late 5* raiting and attention from bigger schools like Oregon and Georgia and ended up committing to Oregon at the last minute. The coaches didn't even know he was going to commit until he did. He enrolled early, realized he wasn't going to start for at least 2 seasons due to the depth in the QB room, and ran back to Cal, where he will probably be a day one starter.
    Oregon will be fine.

I got a legit question: These are high school kids (minors) who have no obligation to any kind of contractual agreement, because they are not 18. Can they just cash any NLI checks, promise the team whatever they want to hear, and just dip right out? I don't see any way for boosters or whoever shellin out stacks to be able to retaliate if a kid don't want to go there anymore. My wife got a credit card sent to her at 17 and made it out in a day ($5k, roughly) and the card company couldn't pursue payment because she couldn't make the agreement due to her age. This needs to be addressed.

These kids must realize that being a 5-star in high school means nothing when you get to college. Some kids with no stars develop into beasts, while some of these 5-star prospects have already peaked. Competition for a starting role in a Power 5 Conference is constant and intense...year in and out.

It's a little weird that JKS left, but not when you consider he saw the QB room he was up against. Without observing the practices like he did, he wouldn't have known until spring. The fact that Evan Stewart is not declaring for the NFL and is coming back also says he knows the QBroomBeGreat at Oregon.

Matt your Sec be Big 10 comparison sucks! You say for the last 20 years the sec has had many great teams and the big only had 1-4 at the top even though that is literally what the Sec was during those years! Vandy Kentucky, Florida, Mississippi State, A&M, Tennessee, South Carolina, Arkansas, Auburn at times sucked! During some years those teams were good and that’s just like the big 10. For some examples Michigan State, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. All are good some years and bad others. You also use the diet thing as an example and that sucks! The Sec as a diet is more Like this, Healthy, Healthy, Unhealthy, Healthy, Unhealthy, Healthy, Healthy.
And the “healthy” foood(LSU, Alabama, Georgia, And Now Texas) through out the years there was relay only one mega team in bama. It’s not fair to give the benefit of the doubt when great big 10 teams are just as consistent and some times better then the Sec. The Sec just has a bit more talent to have better teams because of the region and weather. It’s just not fair comparison of the conferences. I think the Sec is still at the Top but are being to fall and the Big 10 is just inches away, the Big 10 is not terrible.
