🔱 Winter Spearfishing with Wonderful Surprises | Dentex in the Shallows 🐟

☀️ Welcome back to another exciting spearfishing adventure! Today, I've chosen a great spot for some shallow spearfishing action. With several locations to explore, I swiftly prepare myself as the sun has already begun its descent. Despite some waves crashing against the coastline, I'm confident that the underwater conditions will be favorable.
🌊 As I get into the water, I'm delighted to find it clear, though warmer than usual for this time of year. Beginning with an ambush among the swaying seagrass, I patiently observe the fish activity. Although, the strong swell makes it challenging to remain still, I manage to secure a catch-a grey mullet after a long apnea.
🐟 Moving on to the next spot, I'm greeted with a wonderful surprise: a dentex. Quickly switching on my camera, I take a deep breath and dive as quietly as possible. After a while, I seize the opportunity and take an incredibly long shot, barely piercing the dentex. I feel excited encountering such a prized fish in less than two meters of depth.
🐙 I continue my exploration, encountering various marine creatures along the way, capturing a few more tasty grey mullets. To my surprise I also come across a nice octopus ambushing on top of a Posidonia.
🔱 Having caught enough fish in under one and a half hour, I make a conscious decision to refrain from shooting any more grey mullets, and rather dedicate the rest of the session to hunting more special fish. Unfortunately, for over an hour, I didn’t encounter any predators.
⭐️ With a bountiful catch secured and the sun beginning to dip below the horizon, I decide to conclude the day's adventure. As I make my way back to shore, I reflect on the incredible experiences and memorable encounters that this session has brought.

Very nice catch! Yes, those Dentex are beautiful! Reminds me of the White Seabass we hunted when I lived in Southern California. Beautiful fish, reflecting all the sunlight back at you with rainbow colors. A wary fish, like the Dentex, that you have almost zero chance of enticing closer. Zero curiosity. Most spearfishermen will never even see one in the water, much less shoot one!

Έχεις δίκιο, λίγο μεγαλύτερη θα ήταν ακόμα καλύτερα… Τουλάχιστον κι έτσι, ήταν μια ωραία μερίδα στα κάρβουνα.
Φοβερή ψαριά! Πόσα κιλά φορούσες για να έχεις καλή πλευστότητα;
Σ’ ευχαριστώ πολύ φίλε! Συνήθως έχω 11 κιλά στη ζώνη και από 2 έως 4 στο γιλέκο. Αν δεν κάνω λάθος, στο συγκεκριμένο ψάρεμα είχα συνολικά 14 κιλά.
Το τόσο ρηχό μας αναγκάζει να είμαστε κινούμενες άγκυρες… ⚓️ 😂

Ναι, το χρησιμοποιώ από όταν κυκλοφόρησε και γενικά είμαι αρκετά ευχαριστημένος.
Η εφαρμογή του oceanic+ δεν δουλεύει πάντα καλά στο free version, αλλά την βελτιώνουν.
Από πλευράς κατασκευής, αισθητήρων και ευκολίας χρήσης είναι πολύ καλό. 👍🏼
