Thanks, took me and my neighbour 2 hours. My first major repair. The European i40 is slightly different as the steering column only have two bolts in front and a long bolt accross in the back. Plus a airbag for legs, but that sits where the metal plate is positioned on yours. Could not and would not have done it if not for your video.
That’s sucks that’s like tearing the whole car apart just for this if you buying a car with that problem don’t act like it’s nothing that’s a lot of work ok
Wow ! 30 bucks for the part and 300 for the labor ? You're the man ! Blessings 🙏
Nope. It's $5 part and around 1.5 hours labor.

Glad it worked out for you!
It's a $20/30 (if that) part that requires $400 ( my guess ) in labor ...
Great job engineers 👏👏 😡
Awesome job and explanation HMP👌
Thanks! $6 part and around 1.5 hours max to fix it. Now I can do it in under 1 hr.
@@hardlymovingpro Wow $6 thats much cheaper than i thought 😯 , im just wondering how much would Stealership charge for that job ? Probably a lo....t !
Thank you so much 👍
You are welcome!
Hope all is well!
Yup...thanks!
My car is 2011 making a rubbing noise on the steering wheel. I think its a bearing. How do I fix it?
Recommend you move the wheel back and forth and find the source of the noise.
I DID IT 🎉🎉😅 I DID IT THANK YOU SIR YOU SAVE ME $445 THANKS A LOT
Wow! You were quoted $445!!!???
They really skimped on the harness. Needs more connectors. Cowbell too.
Most cars are like this where the steering wheel controls a lot of functions.

Not that bad. Can fix in less than a hour.
Never buy a Hyundai because you get what you pay for. Toyotas are more reliable
I use to think like you but found the Hyundai ride and maintenance experience to be quite good. They're easy to work on.
never go wrong with Toyota and Honda. I'm a car technician working at Ford dealer but I and my family members are always driving Toyota Camry Hybrid
