this is a nice saw, I think it is just a little bit more than the warrior model, there are a lot of bench saws out there, and I had a Delta Model that was just like this one, I've seen this on on sale for as log as $139, so watch the holiday sales, and coupons, I paid $149 - thanks for subscribing!
I just bought this Admiral saw from HF and my miter gauge was not lose or sloppy at all. Snug as a bug sliding it front to back. Those little ridges in the track were not as pronounced on mine as they were on yours. I feel this is the best table saw vs. price for someone who only occasionally needs one. Cheers!
while both saws work great overall and are very close in design and construction, i prefer the warrior, ore thought was put into the design to keep it organized, and there are more adjustment, about the only thing better about the admiral is the dust collection on the riving knife, but it has a few negatives that cancel that advantage, like the riving knife is not adjustable, and the safety cover does not lock into place, and the top is not a perfect finish like the warrior - thanks for subscribing!
I didn't like the start-up jerk on this saw so I added a slow start module to it (Hitachi 371468 Soft Start C10Rj Part). I'd like an even slower start but it's better now.
the start up is not smooth and a $10 add on to make a little more smooth is probably worth it, most bench saws I've seen have this problem, I attribute that feature(?) to having the blade mounted directly to the motor and using cheap motor control (none but on/off), the bigger table saws with a separate motor and use capacitor start and that tends to have a smoother start, but at the expense of a higher current draw at start - thanks for the comment and thanks for subscribing!
Thanks for the Video. If you are selling plastic T fittings, let me know. The Admiral I just bought at HF had a mount for the guard on the left side above the miter gauge. Another difference there is no screw holding the insert.
at least they are trying to improve the saw - does it use the same riving knife mount? ruclips.net/video/YecamfLnI58/видео.html for example - I can make a set of T fittings, but with the changes, I would need you to measure to verify they are still the same size, do you have calipers? let me know - thanks for subscribing!
I'm still using both, I like the dust collection port on the riving knife of the admiral and the rails MIGHT be a standard profile, every other feature is the same, or better on the warrior, depending when you buy, they are the same cost, both have sold for as low as $139, I'll be doing a video to compare them side by side, but at this point, I'll be keeping the warrior, I'll have to do some type of custom dust collection for the top of the warrior, but saws cut very good, it should not be too long on the PETG rails, I'm still trying to figure out why HF did that weird profile - thanks for subscribing!
they are not available commercially and because of the amounting method, it is difficult to build a wood replacement, there is not enough depth to safely hold a wood replacement - a 3D printed replacement would work great, but I do not know of any designs available - I'm going to see if I can get my son to design one, a challenge, but not impossible - an alternative would be to fit a piece of plywood over the top, but they a custom fence is required, no easy options.......same for the miter slot runners, I can't find them commercially available, but I do have designs for 3d printed runners on my web site - thanks for subscribing !
A standard t trak is too wide to fit the admiral I don't have access to a 3d printer so I can't make one, how much would you charge for 2slides for this saw?
I am working on a PETG printer (hard plastic), I hope to make progress this weekend and I'll post a video when I get it working - I can print PLA (not quite as hard plastic), but I do not think they will last, so waiting for the PETG printer - thanks for subscribing!
a few manufactures make a short arbor dado cutter and will work find on this saw, you can use a regular dado cutter, but you won't be able to get full thickness cuts and still be as safe because of the shorter arbor - I plan to do a video on dado options for this saw in the future - thanks for subscribing!
wow - rewatch the video, the miter gauge is not worth using, when I come up with suitable replacement, I will post an update - you probably should look at some anger management help if you missing something in a video makes you that angry, or just pay attention to the video and not get angry - thanks for subscribing!
@@snapwholeharborfreightreviews It’s mostly I was coming here after already being angry no videos show how to use it…and was hoping you’d be my savior. You went over everything except the miter thingy. But you say I need anger management because you lack the context of me feeling helpless.
@@snapwholeharborfreightreviews I’m calmer now but at the time of writing it 9 hours ago I was feeling pretty frustrated. I never said you were the cause of me being angry.
Your son has a quick, problem-solver kind of mind!
Nice review. I’m almost to the point of buying one of these. Haven’t used one since high school shop class in 1988.

Do you prefer the Admiral or Warrior table saw?
Thanks for sharing it's truly appreciated. Take Care!!!

Sooo what one do you like more? I still love my warrior. Best bang for your buck in my opinion. How are you coming along with the feather board slots?

Anybody know where I can get a zero clearance insert for these saws

Does it accept a dado head

Nice - actionable info without the sales pitch.
Glad you liked the video - Thanks for subscribing!
try the PLA with carbon fiber. It rocks.
I'll Look into it - thanks for subscribing!
You didn’t even show how to use the miter gauge ….angry af rn
