@theaaplfan Thank you for your question. The journals Don Colley is using are indeed vintage journals from the 1900’s that bookkeepers in all types of industries used. He buys them at flea markets and estate sales.
i love Faber-Castell, and this guy is perfect showcasing how to use them. instant fan!
@nokia6111cp Thank you for your question. These are two very different products. Faber-Castell PITT artist pens have been created especially for artists - they contain pigmented India ink and are lightfast. Prismacolor markers are alcohol-based and as they are not lightfast they are not suitable for artists.
1:44 I like it
He's using old ledgerbooks. I think his current one is a ledger from 1937. The one in the video might be another one.
I don't exactly know about the paper of these books, but I'm sure it's some sort of glossy paper, since it doesn't absorb the ink very fast.
Did u guys know that patterend edges on book keeping journals where to stop pages being removed if a mistake was made or someone was trying to steal, if a page was removed it would be easily seen from distortsion of the pattern.
love the music
I just picked up four of the "big brush" pens. I like how this takes place in Cleveland, Ohio. This video is the reason that I tried these pens out.
YES THEY ARE GOOD QUALITY
Beautiful video.
@FaberCastellGroup can someone please tell me what sort of paper he is using
and where i can get a sketchbook like that!
how would you compare Prismacolor markers to Pitt pens?
Where can buy that sketchbook
Try sketch book CANSON Marker 70g/m2
Mine won't blend. Probably the paper.
