I know this is an old post, did you end up re-drilling holes in frame to level out swaybar? I’m thinking of same or cutting out a section of end link and MiG steel tube as a coupling? Thanks for video.
Gran video gracias.
Okay, first off, your video already helped me by giving me the exact names of the parts im trying to replace. I do have one question...im changing the sway bar end links on my 1995 F-150, is there a certain amount of torque that you have to tighten it with? Or is hand tighten the way to go? And should you replace both end links if only one is broken? Thanks for posting this video!
There really isn’t any, usually torque depends on fastener size. What I do is tighten, with impact, until I see the bushings (rubber part) compress, (roughly 40-60 ft lbs.) and make sure none of the sleeves, washers are loose. Thank you for watching, glad I could help.
I bought mine for a guy that let it sit in a field too. Lol. When I came he said I’m not sure if it will start, and it did. Was a scary 40 mile drive back home though.
Same. 6 years sitting in barn. New battery and fired right up. Tearing into it now. Bed off to get all the rear stuff including the SWAY BAR. Thx for vid. Subscribed
I subscribed immediately after you said you put the plastic battery holder in your pocket because I think everyone has taken small things from junk yards at least once
Nice most have improvement if you dont have one especially on the front end I have a 1991 Ford Ranger and with out sway bar ones you hit 70 oh 75 that little thing felt like I was on a boat it was all over the place since I install one ot seats straight and no more swinging to the sides anymore if I hit 80 down hill 😅 no problem is more safe to drive
@@icsivan I lowered mine but put a drop Shackel and now it’s to low in the back, I will have to reinstall the factory one back in and hopefully it will sit even.

@@icsivan awesome thank you so much
Damn LKQ here almost gives me stuff here
Hey Ivan, What size bolt did you use to mount the rear sway bar links to the frame?
Don’t remember, believe it was a 3/8 bolt
Obs Ford trucks are amazing they will last forever my 5.8 sat in a field for five years and i put a new battery in it and it started right up

Hahaha, thank you for subscribing.
Does the rear axle hit the frame on bumps ? Thinking of getting mine c notched
Not even close, it has plenty of clearance, but I don’t know if it will if you C notch it.
Can I change from a regular f150 to a lightning?
I only mean from outside
How much was the price on your 95 f150 when you first bought it ?
$1000.00
What size bolt did you use to mount the rear sway bar links to the frame?
Yo bro my dad has a 96 F150 and you inspire me to start it as a project
That means a lot man. You won’t regret it.
Hey man great job but next time take us along for the test drive my boy.
Will do.

What kind of coil springs are you running
Stock. DJM ,lowering kit Im running, recommends you run your OE coils, with no problem. Ride feels good
Are you running moog?
That’s one clean obs! What’s your wheel and tire size?
235/75R15 in the front and 265/70R15 in the rear.
Did yours have a sway bar before?
No, it came from factory without one.
Are you sitting on the factory Shackels ? In the back.
Yes, I had lowering shackles but I didn’t want more than the 5” DJM offers
@@icsivan I lowered mine but put a drop Shackel and now it’s to low in the back, I will have to reinstall the factory one back in and hopefully it will sit even.
@@tonystokes8791 Thats what i was afraid of.
