Just a tip: when you put a decorative comb in your hair put it in the opposite way. Going against the flow and it’ll stay in securely. It’s kind of like doing a stitch, if that makes sense.

Your hair turned out beautiful! I can't wait to see your natural hair videos!!!! I do have a few tips that helped me out when doing my own natural hair over the years. Even though my hair is about half your length, it is still WORK straightening my hair, which I do maybe 2 or 3 times a year. I also use the exact same steps and have that hair drier. I also get sweat when blow drying my hair, so I bought me a small portable fan to keep me cool during the process and keep the rest of the hair in a shower cap to keep it damp. The other thing I do is get a cup or container to support my shampoo bottles to stay upside down to keep the shampoo at the nozzle. I hope these two tips will be helpful...the fan is game changer. If you try that out let me know if it helps. Be blessed!!!

I am thinking I want to try the revair blow dryer to get closer to my scalp , I have a serious fear of burning my scalp with the flat iron, because if I do I know I will not flat iron my hair, I will start flinching. I am definitely going to order a mini fan with my next Amazon order lol and I will definitely let you know the outcome. Thank you for the tips and for watching.

Hello again lol. I was thinking the same thing, I really liked stretch twist look, it just took sooooo long to get there. But thinking about it , it doesnt take any longer when I install my mini twists. I would love to do some more stretched looks, I tried african thredding
once and it came out okay. I wouldnt want to blow dry mty hair very often. I may need to look into threading again

It came out lovely and full of volume without too much manipulation. You were very gentle with the hair. Personally, though it would irritate me to not press out my roots. I don't mind not having it bone straight but my roots have to be flattened out and manageable

Your hair looks amazing! You are so beautiful❤️ am going on 7 years natural this year and only this year am I really getting to know my hair, having it in styles that aren't twists. It's been in twists for years🙄 the sweaty scalp Sis' and I don't even straighten my hair - I just can't keep even a low bun for 5 days straight without touching my hair because my roots are back curly and raised. However seeing this video am just like bring it on! By end of 2022 I'll be so much better than now 😂😂 great job

Hello Felicia! Thank you. Someone else has asked me that before. I really keep it simple and I have never thought about it. I eat fish, fruits , veggies, and candy here and there. I dont drink juice or soda, only drink water and tea. I dont eat fried food, chicken , turkey , pork , or beef.

For the temperature for the flat iron it doesn't have a dial for the temperature just a blinking button for when it is ready to use. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family as well. If you style your hair wet and part on the other side eventually the hair will grow back in that direction getting rid of the old part. I did this after high school when I noticed the same parting issues and it worked!

As I’m watching I’m like, I love her wash day shirt! Thank you for sharing this video with us btw. I personally think that I’m going to try using the hair drying brush for my 4c hair, it seems to be more effective considering the fact it’s a 2-in-1 (not having to hold a brush and a separate hair dryer at the same time) I’m huge on air drying my hair but that hair dryer you use is definitely a game charger for various natural hair reasons! Your hair is gorgeous and I have received so much useful information. Do you wash your hair in twists without taking them down? Do you take each one down, wash, and retest individually? When do you pull out your shed hairs?

I take the twists out and wash them individually. This year I was able to get my sections down to 10. 4 in the front and 6 in the back, I would like to get the back down to 4.
Once I shampoo I use conditioner to detangle and then twist that section back
Shed hairs come out during detangling.
Have you considered trying the revair reverse air hair dryer? You may not even need to use a flat iron after. Your hair is beautiful and I wish I could see a wedding photo.

My scalp 'sweats' too. As I'm 'Flat Ironing' it, it's going BACK... so I just stopped doing that. You can get a _Blowout_ with a good Hair Dryer which was essentially all I was getting...
Mine does as well, and someone suggested I get a fan while blow drying ! It worked well!

Hey Keanna. Yes I do, either that or pin curls. I use a little oil and then roll or pin curl.

I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I cannot wait to try it !
You don't have to straighten or flat iron your hair. Wet it put some product on it, brush it and tie it down for 15-30minutes and you would have smooth hair. I will send you some youtubers with completely nature hair.

That is what she wanted. Just having my wedding I can understand brides want uniformity and some don't care as long as you don't come looking crazy. Her demands were not crazy and it was just one month shy of when I normally do it and she is one of my closet friends.
Now if she wanted her guests to adhere to that , that would be a different story !
