That Carlos Alberto goal was something else. Pele didn't even need to see. He knew CA was coming
He clearly looked😂
He saw it. In Pelé Museum, in Brazil, it's shown that Pelé had an almost superhuman periferal vision. Almost nobody would see Carlos Alberto Torres, but he saw it.
The video literally shows pele looking up and seeing CA coming?
None of ya know the story hahaha there was a Brazilian striker in front of pele, this striker saw Carlos Alberto and pointed. Pelé didn’t look but he knew Carlos Alberto would be there
You see goals like that every weekend. It's a nice team goal but best goal of all time? Nahhhh

Carragher is spot on
Well you can have your opinion I guess. That's not the greatest goal but I guess the greatest meaningful goal. Big difference.
@@lightner6924The greatest goal is a subjective matter. You should realise that?!
Its finish is not spectacular like James Rodriguez's volley in off the crossbar or Madonna's Dribble against England.
It's a team goal that was executed to perfection with many more variables at play.
No luck involved whatsoever, unlike the others I mentioned. Big difference!!

Maradona goal vs England 1986 world Cup. Took on the entire team was special
100% but that would be too obvious
That one is impressive
I’m English and have to agree.
The England players were asked why they didn’t just “take him out”, as in foul him, they all said they were trying to but couldn’t get near him.
Sublime player.
the most overrated more like, the england players just stood there..
Jamie is insane with his football memory. You can see him close his eyes and relive the goal.
that kaká goal against man united in champions league semis is pure art.
I still remember as if it was yesterday. I couldn’t believe my eyes. The moment I saw United’s defense about to close down and dispossess him, he brilliantly knocked the ball down with his head. What made it more dramatic is the fact the two defenders collided with one another. He broke free one on one with keeper from an otherwise impossible situation. Pure class from him and that ballon d’Or was one of the most deserved in its history.
😂😂😂 not epic enough
Remmeber watching that goal thinking WOW, I’ve just seen greatness
I still remember that goal like it was yesterday. Absolute genius!!
Evra made it happen😁 by tackling his comrade

I agree
Maradona vs England, probably the most iconic ever. I’d mention also Van Basten in Euro final vs USSR and the penalty by Neeskens in 74 world cup of Netherland vs western Germany, not for the goal itself but because it came after two minutes of ball possession from the kick off
I think van basten header vs real madrid is also very underrated

I'd say Steve Bloomer's goal against Scotland in 1907 has got to be up there. I've never read of a goal where so many players and people who witnessed a goal said it was the best they'd ever seen. Standing 40 yards from goal, Bloomer latched onto a mis-hit pass from Alex Raisbeck and hit the ball first time, striking downwards with his instep.
