Lenovo W541 unreliable boot

Having an issue with my new Lenovo ThinkPad W541: most of the time it won't boot up (so, sometimes it will, and works great when it does). Still after 8 business days, with an "Onsite Next Business Day" warranty, waiting on Lenovo to find the necessary part to make the repair. -1

Thanks, but the point of this video was just the opposite: the choice of keyboard made no difference. I had to make changes in the BIOS settings to resolve the issue (per pedro passament's comment under this video).

ON BIOS change the USB 3.0 under configuration to Enabled. Also Under Boot device change the UEFI/Legacy boot to only Legacy.

Sir I have a boot problem now a boot screen think pad setup screen appears
Then a blank screen
Then initializing for boot
Then chose a tab menu/app menu screen appears and again boot screen appears
kindly guide me in this issue,if I have connected USB (lazesoft password recovery)with lenovo laptop still issue is same

,boot initialization screen appears ,choose the device for boot(usb)
,then lazesoft app opens after password reset I click on reboot then again think pad screen appears

I want to reprogram the eeprom 24s08 of my laptop lenevo T500 type 2241 , because the bios is corrupted. I can't find a copy of the original Bios ..
.bin, I need your help to get an identical copy to the original.

I had a very similar problem with my w541, after admitting defeat I sent it in for mobo repair, but the problem persisted. Turns out my hard drive was giving out on me, replaced it and the problem was fixed instantly (Should have been the first thing I checked). Hopefully this helps.

Yo "lo solucione". Cuando prenden la PC y les aparece "To interrupt normal startup, press enter" tienen que apretar rapido y muchas veces la tecla enter. Luego van al Setup, o Bios, y modifican el UEFI, en la seccion Startup, y lo dejan LEGACY. Luego tienen que poner como nuevo booteo un pendrive con El windows que quieran y listo. Pueden instalar Windows!
