Not far from me at Dennington Hall Farms! Great video. The narrow lane to Maypole Green - daily occurrence for my feed and seed deliveries 🙈 I have the t cut on standby!
Great video as always Will. I totally get the bridge thing as I use to get a bit nervous while crossing the Forth Road 🛣️ Bridge heading to Edinburgh as I use to collect model buses 🚍 as I use to work for Stagecoach In Fife. I use to work on the buses 🚍 as I use to check-change oil & greasing & other jobs needing done. Unfortunately I have MS so I can’t work & yes I do miss my job as I always worked for my money. Stagecoach were absolutely brilliant when I couldn’t work on. So I get a pretty good pension every month & I have my staff retired pass for the rest of my life so no complaints at all Pal. 👍
That's the bridge we used in my day when I went to sheerness steel with oxygen every day and night as they used to drink the stuff to keep there furnace going.
I used to erect a lot of steel on Sheppy, and once I was stopped at that bridge, because one of the naughty boys from the prison had gone awol. They had lifted the bridge to stop anyone getting off the island, until the Police got there to check all vehicles leaving.
Everyone who has a driving licence, whether it a car, motorbike or lorry etc... is a professional driver. After all we have a bit of paper / plastic that says so. In regards to the Audi driver it is the responsibility of all drivers to drive with due care and attention (and no I'm not a copper) and for those who make a mistake, like we all do at some point, then the other driver should just have a wee bit of patience while the eg Audi driver sorts them selves out and gets their act together. It took all of a minute. Big deal so what. Better that than a accident which'll take ages, paperwork, points, possible P45. Just slow down it isn't a race, and if you think it is, go race on a dedicated track and not the public highway. Bloody hell I sound like the old git I am!
yeah will i think your right retesting for everyone at a certain age cos it a lost change since some peple have passed a driving test everyone should have a medical like the hgv drivers nuff said.
I think that lady had just got that car she was so unsure or gears and probably poor at reverse. I rem my Dad having to reverse a car of a little bridge as lady was out numbered and couldn’t reverse maybe because of bridge walls & was shaking!

As a dust cart driver, there are various types of drivers that need a retest 😂

I think freedom is more important than worrying about a few old people driving. Most accidents are young people speeding

Yes, did everyday for years when I lived that way, no other Bridge bothers me.... it's literally just that one
I think it is just bad driving, I do think that once your above 60 or so you should retake a theory test every 5 years.
