Just watched it Jenko. Fair play showing the cock up getting to the quarry. We've all done it I certainly have. You could have edited it out. Good to show the rubbish side of our job.
Narrow roads are fun......I used to deliver animal feed to farmers in the south of ireland back in the 80's.....no satnav and no mobile phones......all good experience....take care buddy
Thanks for another excellent video Martyn, down near my holiday caravan again, I left there after a long weekend, just a bit earlier than you arrived, but the flooding around the Wells area was awful, certainly throwing a few tight lanes at you at the moment!! Keep up the good work and keep safe! 👍🙂🚛🚛
Mate, that was tough to watch. It certainly brought back some memories (nightmares) and of course, all the branches droop in the rain. You did well though, good job.
Jenko: A really great video: really enjoyed it but; just a pity we didn't get, the part to you second collection; we're only human! Thanks and stay safe.
Thailand...........loved it when working for the National Geographic (UK) back in 2008-9. Such a beautiful country, the small villages and the amount of wild life. Want to return one day.
I woke up just in time to hear you say Don't fall asleep. Don't be offended I like your videos as I did 35 years on the road They weren't all bad times and yours remind me . I did loads of container work and general haulage . Had trucks old and new
Great videos Mr jenko very amusing well done you for shouting out the young 7 year old lady trucker fan who always says toodles at bedtime to mum and dad what a sport keep safe you and Mrs jenko
You are the second vlogger to feature my friend`s part of Bristol. She lives on the other side of that park you passed at the begginiing of that particular clip. Kev Tee picked up a car from behind the shopping centre on the right hand side!
Great vlog as usual. Can't believe how calm you are. Driving those lanes. I would be flapping driving in my car lol. Don't you just love sat navs sometimes
That used to do my head in curtains getting cut even with back doors open, I used to carry couple rolls of red Tarpaulin Repair Tape of ebay obviously red cos I was pulling red trailers, one of the reasons moved on to bulk tippers, 🚛💨
And I thought the road from Wells to Highbridge was narrow in a car lol. Bet you was glad to be parked up with Claire at the end of that hard day you had. Great vlog as always buddy.
Just started watching, but just to say about it getting lighter at 7:00am. Now I'm retired, that is one thing I'll never miss, the dark mornings. I worked as an office worker in Manchester, so had to trump to the bus stop, and wait for the bus in all weathers, wind, rain, snow, fog, and if the bus didn't turn up, I would have to then walk over half a mile to where there are frequent ones, as my one bus is just that, one for the day. In the evening, again, there was only one bus, but I could never get it because some stupid idiots who work for Stagecoach decided to have the bus leave Manchester at 17:10, and I finished work at 17:00, and it was a good 15 minutes walk, and I mean picking up the speed. Talking about glare on the road, I suffered the same when driving down to London from Manchester in December. I decided to invest in a pair of Rae Burn sunglasses anti-glare. They certainly made the difference🤣
Great video buddy. @life of darren has one of them sat navs and he loves it I think. He uploads Monday to Friday at 7pm has some great videos give him a shout in your nest video I know he also watches you.
14:40 Couldn't agree more, as long as they get the money, they don't care. They should all be enclosed fully, with full CCTV coverage of their yard if they want to charge what they do! And there certainly shouldn't be any with parking like the face of the moon. Having the facilities is OK, but they should also be a safe place to park, like they advertise!!
Its not about relying on them. But they are great as another tool in an aid to getting around. I still use paper maps on occasions. but the Sat -Nav does help. You just have to use a bit of common sense. And not go down roads that look wrong. Just do a bit of research first.
@anthony1636 he relys on the satnav and Google maps and both were wrong, a good map, a tongue in your mouth and common sense always worked for me and loads of other drivers
Whereabouts are you parking up in haydock ? As an ex driver I know what it’s like without facilities, I’m retired now, live in haydock, I’ve recognised you travelling along Lodge Lane towards the M6 J23, if I can assist let me know.
I purchased my OHREX after The Breeze recommended them. To be honest I have had it about a year now. And its been ok and it was cheap. So a good buy in my opinion.

Great vlog as usual. Can't believe how calm you are. Driving those lanes. I would be flapping driving in my car lol. Don't you just love sat navs sometimes

Really good vlog
I think ur planners and bosses should watch some of your vlogs to see the roads they send you down 🤪😉

Your old ferrymans merc just passed are village nr barnsley today.its not looked after now.brilliant vlog pal
That went back to Mercedes a good few months ago. So must be sold on now.
👍👍👍 🚛
Enjoyed the vlog Martyn. Why do they insist on sending artics on country lanes like the ones you were on I don't know. Take care.
Scott with his Thomas Magnum Moustache..
I think you secretly like getting lost Martin you must admit it makes good viewing.I would'nt bother with a Sat nav. Just follow ypur nose.😅😅
Yer needtoget that cough sorted Buddy? You’ve had it a fair few weeks! #2000
The satnav will always take you the short way. If the quarry owners know this the sign should have been closer to the junction you took
You should get a mrddle for the driving on thoes roads? Sorry TRACKS. Welldone martin.
I don't know why drivers rely on sat navs
Its not about relying on them. But they are great as another tool in an aid to getting around. I still use paper maps on occasions. but the Sat -Nav does help. You just have to use a bit of common sense. And not go down roads that look wrong. Just do a bit of research first.

Lol, look, mate. we've all messed up once or twice, and anyone says they haven't is a liar
Awesome vlog as always jenko could I please have a shout-out for next Monday 14th as it's my birthday

thanks buddy
All this curtain pulling is keeping you fit yes.?😀👍
I thought it would be a must for all drivers with curtain sides to carry Gaffer Tape, there are those that have been cut, and those that will.
I am in hospital tonight
It's the worst job to do
I purchased my OHREX after The Breeze recommended them. To be honest I have had it about a year now. And its been ok and it was cheap. So a good buy in my opinion.
