Yep the Mahindra tear 4 engines need to be ran at the upper rpm ranges. Lugging your hydraulics will cause cavitation (cavitation+run time= bad wear time). I have had my 2638 for a few years (2018) now and it has done some big machine task. I keep good file additive in there to Hotshot diesel secret and nano tec in the oil. I keep my joint greased and all the rams waxed and cleaned before I start a heavy job. She is a champ gets a hug and pat on the hood after a rough job too.
I must agree, for only being a 38hp tractor it does a good job. These cement chunks of wall were put in back when I had a skid steer that was in the 45hp range. Then I burried them with clay having the intent to make a barrier to divert water. Trying to dig them out was a chore but we got it done :)
Glad you liked it! I put those big stones in with an old skid steer so it had a lot more lifting power but I do nto ahve it any mroe so working with what I got :)
put tractor in low and rev it to 20 or 25 and it will do the job. I have the same tractor and i used to treat it like a little girl, know i run it like i stole it and it does more impossible jobs.
LOL I worry about what it can handle and typically I run in medium but I assumed since I was not moving the gear did not help the lift? I'll have to try that idea.

Fuel additive.

Bucket is wrong tool for the job. Way too small. You need pallet forks.
Back when I was doing this job all I had was a bucket. I have since bought some forks and love them.
WOW!!!
It was all that little 38 horse Mahindra had 😀
