You are pure creative genius. You techniques are simple and the effect is profound. It keeping it simple that's the toughest thing to achieve. Genius!
This is a great tutorial. I actually said WOW when you showed the effect of the choke layer which is the key to this technique. Very impressive and clean design. Thanks for sharing.
Your motion graphic videos are the best videos I can find on the internet! Keep them coming :)
this way of using matte choker is brand new. good job
Never thought you could use a simple chocker like this, awesome man
Your video tutorials are the best on the entire internet!!
I have been trying to help people visualize the "Higgs Field" for a long time. It is a physics concept that can be slightly difficult to visualize, but this does it PERFECTLY. Thank you.
The Higg's Field can be explained with an analogy: Its like a pool of honey that permeates the entire universe; particles that interact with it, gain mass and particles that dont, are mass-less. The Nobel Prize this year was awarded for its discovery.
Anyway, thank you again! Your channel alone has helped me demonstrate countless concepts. Thank you.
I don't know why i like your videos before i watch them ;)
very nice to see your tutorials. You have (thankfully) some speed to it. so THANKS!! you have been a big help already :D

These tutorials are just too awesome. This shape layer fusion is the best effect I've seen yet, since I started using AE. Hats off to you, man! Love your "summits". :D keep sharing your cool ideas. Much much appreciated. (Y)
I can't believe how easy it it to achieve such a great effect. Thanks for the really helpful tutorial, as always.
Thanks so much Matt, I've been making the animations and learning so much from you!
I love your tutorials man they're so in depth and helpful and you're amazing for doing this. Thank you :D
You are awesome! Thanks for making them! I've watched every single one. haha
Hi everyone, I noticed a few comments about the Drop Shadow and Simple Choke effects not working when you apply them on the 'Fusion' Comp. This is because you made a solid layer for your background (Matt didn't). One way around is to pre-comp your shapes alone inside the 'Base' comp and called it 'Shapes' (or whatever you want) and then apply both effects on that comp. Or you just don't use a background layer and choose the BG color directly inside the 'Base' comp settings. Hope this helps!
Jennifer ravolet Thanks, i spent several minutes trying to figure this out before read your comment =P
Night Walker I am glad it helped! :)
Jennifer ravolet thanks really worked
+Birat Kafle Awesome! :)

Amazing man! thank you for sharing the secret. I love how u used simple effects to create such thing. Keep it up and please more tutorials. Cheers!
Hello,
because you take time for us all, I consider that's the minimum to do to write you a little comment.
First of all : Thank you, thank you ! I love the way you love sharing your discovering et your love for design motion. I really appreciate when you take time to explain what you are doing and event for a beginner like me I can follow the process.
Thus, I would even more appreciate, before beginning a demonstration that you explain what you part you will accomplish. For example : I will now do the explosion ... And then begin entering the detail. It really helps memorizing and understanding the hole thing now where you are going before taking any steps futher.
YOUR ARE AWSOME !
Merci beaucoup ! Je suis un grand Fan !
You're a complete legend mate!

This is sooooooo cool. I'm in love this. Really appreciate sharing:)) You truly are awesome.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! So helpful!
I really appreciate this! Super cool effect, thanks for sharing. My only suggestion is that I think it would be nice to lay out what all will be done quickly at the beginning. For this something like "turbulant displace on a adj layer, precompose, add drop shadow and simpler choker". 16 minutes of standard AE shape animation before getting to the good stuff can feel like a waste of time. Agian, this is great, thank you, and please keep it up!
Man, I haven't seen this kind of effect anywhere!
thanks a lot to your awesome tutorials i was able to make my first logo animation. you are really cool bro.
Keep up the good work man.

Hi, Mr. Mograph! I have a question. What if i applied the simple choker and the drop shadow to the adjustment layer, would it be the same as the process you did of pre-composing the base composition? awesome, btw!

keep it all over again man
your tutorials are awesome!!
Thank you for sharing awesome tips!!!!!
Hey! Love the video. I was wondering how you were able to get your anchor point window where it is. I can't seem to find that on my adobe after effects. I'm working with CC. I checked under window and there's no anchor point windows. I can't find it anywhere. If you could help that would be great! Thanks.

Sick Tutorial Mt. :D

PS to get the bouncy effect just change the keyframe interpolation to Linear on the keyfram where the line is bouncing backwards :)
Good job, its pretty smart
big thanks
thanks for your tuts, really nece channel, you and ecabrams are my favourite dudes! i got 1 question, when i drag my "Base" composition to "fusion",scale it down and then apply "drop shadow" to "Base", it creates shadow of the whole composition (rectangle), not of the each element, like in your video, why? (sorry for my English)
*****
thank you so much! i had a solid in Base, but now i don't and it's good for me! THANKS!
Great Tutorial, thank you.
Very good tutorial, i have a question is easy to put an images inside of the fireworks? witch is the easy way to do it? thanks so much and you have a new follower.
Thanks so much :p
Great tutorial! Learning so much from your channel thanks :)
Thank you. This is really helpful.
i was wondering how did u dock the "MoveAnchorPoints" panel with After Effects' !!
It's because when i install this plug-in or script, whatever .. looked like standalone window and i cant dock it with the other panels , any help !!?
Drag the "tab" part in the top left corner of your pop-up window and move it into one of the docked areas in your main window, it should dock according to the position shown by the trapezoid.
Paul van Sommeren thanks :)
Its really big secret of the day for me.
