That's a great point honestly, I'd much rather know that I am supporting a more sustainable fishing practice than these fish being drag netted, foul hooked, or just commercially overharvested by large fishing operations.

He definitely cares about the ocean and is 100 percent real when he says the population is healthy. Fish markets and the fishermen with correct licenses here in Florida have to report every single species and weight sold daily. They have to legally and this state is very strict about it. It also goes towards science which helps out with recreational fisherman being able to harvest a fish and have bags limits rather than closures on a fish that is not in any danger. He’s definitely not taking too much. He’s real and is accurate with alot he says. He wouldn’t target any species that was even close to being in jeopardy. No drags nets or anything crazy like that going on here in Florida either.

I get seasick really bad. So, watching you is my time on the sea. Remember, People need to eat, and you're helping the market and the people that work there and giving people like my wife and myself a place to go an enjoy a night out. So, thank you, don't worry about those who will hate. You can change the way you fish to make them happy, but they will just find something to complain about. God Bless you, your fiancée and your team. Keep them rolling, if you stop, then I will have to get seasick.

You do just the opposite which , in my opinion is fantastic. Please keep up all the good work .
That said , I'm from Rhode Island and the only species we really have there to shoot is Striped Bass, Tautog, and Blue fish, which are extremely easy to distinguish from one another. Is there any possibility that you might identify the fish you shoot either vocally or with a caption , so we may learn the numerous variety of fish that you hunt , please? Thanks

really love to hear it! whole different ball game making a living commercial much respect! don't get to do these as much as I'd like but blessed to have the charter side of things busy. and I agree! should see some serious result in a few years hopefully.

I love the commercial stuff. Such a cool industry that you hardly ever see any of. And the spots are always 🔥🔥🔥

Excellent video - very informative on technique and certainly gives us an idea of how tough the commercial end of the business is.

You're always going to get the haters, and I bet plenty of them eat fish as well. Fishing for a living has 'kind of' been around for a long time, and no question spearing is a sustainable way to harvest. Even as a recreational fisherman, I'm always out to get my limit - I don't fish for sport anymore, I fish to eat and feed my family. Regulations + time on or in the water = self sustainability. Bring on those groceries Aaron 👍🏼
