How do you get your inspiration for your builds, and how many retries do you end up doing before you're happy with them?
@Roesguard oh god, watching me decide is probably painful. I place things, later decide I don't like it and tear it down again.
I do some of my builds streaming on Twitch if you're really curious, lol
My inspiration just kinda of comes honestly. I start putting stuff down, and the area just kind of "tells" me what goes there. (And then when I "misunderstand" what it's saying, I tear it down, lol)
Sometimes, I see something in someone else's build that I realize I can use in another way on mine.
My skyscraper was inspired by one of my subscribers, which is why I put an office for him in the building lol

Beautiful build Azaleah. I really liked the use of pillars in and around the water features. The sunken Hot Spring is a neat touch. I honestly have no idea how you laid that all out so you could go back and do it so cleanly on a new file.
Are you leveling a new file for fun? or Xbox stability issues?
@bobnewkirk7003 stability issues. The last update broke our previous world. So we started this one, and the patch to fix the stability issues came out today.
Unfortunately, it's made the game unplayable at the moment.
I guess I'll uninstall and start yet ANOTHER world
@@AzaleahGames I bet you never though all your coverage of the best ways to start over would come in this handy.
Sorry to hear about your files. the devs are really struggling on the Xbox end, but at least it sounds like they are trying and we know that Xbox devs are directly supporting the project. Most of the player-base has moved on and so I'm assuming they are pushing for another content drop over fixes internally.
On the plus side the have 12 positions open so if they are using the income from PW to build the company then hopefully support will get better, not worse, over time. The wait sucks though...
@bobnewkirk7003 Yeah, I know they're working on it, but it's so frustrating when I'm trying so hard to make content with a game I can't reliably play. 😔
It pops up with a save error message every minute or two that I have to close out of. I lose control of my character while it's up
And if that's not annoying enough, it still crashes entirely every 10 minutes.
And my last 3 streams can prove that I'm not exaggerating. I finally gave up, which sucks because I wanted people to be able to get their free skins.
