Brilliant as always, I recon a few of them are good enough to stand the tractor drive over test. I still swear by my scythe for trimming around the croft, it ain’t as fast as a brush cutter but it don’t scare the pigs, and I find it immensely satisfying and therapeutic. Peeing the blade looking out to sea with a few cold ones as the sun sets is a satisfying feeling. Stay safe.

Just on the load choker. They do a version for load binding chains. Once you get past Ute, and into trucks, past the 2,500 kg limit of webbing straps. Sensational gizmo for choking hard to hold loads, like sleeper post's or concrete pipes. Same principle of bundling the load together, but using 8 or 10mm chain with dog's / binders. Regards Phil.

Great video Tim. Dr Pickard and I had a good play with the Quick Wedges - we did get them to hold but like you showed, its hard work and not foolproof in any way!

Love the debarber, recon it would definitely pass the tractor test, when it comes to cutting weeds close to give me my scythe everyday, it’s just so satisfying

Could do with a custom guard for the power weeder to keep the dirt where it belongs, but an interesting idea all the same.

How's it going Tim? I'm from Minnesota, U.S. I'm not a farmer or a rancher, but I came across your channel because of the truckie hitch. Your videos are great and super interesting. All the best to you and yours!

Really interested in the weed eater. We have 390 little macadamia trees needing weeds and grass cut away. I do use a brush cutter with the blade. One mistake could kill a tree.
The website for the company does not appear to be set up for sales. However fortunately for me they are based close to where I live. I hope I can buy one or two of these cutters.
    Thanks.

Yep. They really don’t have a good setup but it’s a good product I reckon

We are going to pick up one of the Power Weeder bad boys tomorrow. Just finished talking to the maker on the phone. He sounds like a decent old fellow and is very happy to be selling one of his weeders to us. I'm going to be trying it out soon in my orchard. It should make cutting weeds around trees a much less risky exercise.

We bought the Power Weeder today. Everything went smoothly. He says he doesn't make these attachments, he makes the lighter plastic versions. It looks like a solid piece of equipment. I hope it fits to my Ego brush cutter machine. I'll test it out first on some woody weeds to see how the attachment damages the trunk compared to using a blade or string.
Hitting a trunk when cutting away weeds from around little trees is inevitable so I hope hitting the trunk with a weed eater does not cause fatal injuries to a tree.

Would the debarber work for taking the droppers off hinge joint fencing?

I’ll reply when I get a minute. My initial reaction would be no, but have to try to be sure….. if it works it’s a video for sure

Do they make the strain gauge in a right hand option so I can see the increments on the side I'm working? Maybe the imperial American Standard version will do this?😎
