The watch itself is gorgeous but the movement is somehow outdated. If Seiko re-issues this on their new 5 sports, I'll be willing to buy one for myself.
@Eli the 7s26's accuracy can be improved through regulation but in order to keep that movement better in accuracy over the years is to have hacking in which this [7s26] movement lacks.
Sooo much better on a quality leather strap. It's a cheap watch but amazing for the price. Seiko saved money in the right place, i.e. on the bracelet, which is pretty trashy compared with the watch itself but which can be easily swapped. I believe most people change it out and when you do the whole thing looks like something ten times the price.

J1 means it’s made by people not born. In japan working in factories in japan. K1 means it’s made by people not born in Japan in factories not located in the island is japan. Basically no difference. Humans are humans.
The difference normally is in the day wheel. If it is J1 usually has English with Arabic or Japanese date wheel, but if it is K1 it may have a combination of English and Spanish, Italian or German
