Watching this is bringing me back to college when I sat with a PS2 in my dorm room staying up late finishing the game. I also wish this could get a de-make in an MSX style game.

This is one of the best runs I have ever seen on MGS 3. The man is calm, makes decisions on his feet, also explains on point what and why he is doing stuff. Also 37:30 I-have-never-seen-this-before, that's GDQ magic at it finest. Made me laugh big time. ^_^
I am a bit Late, but nice to see this man gives the game much more love than i did in the past. And i really enjoy it, got all the different clothes, face colors, the stealth equipment and weapons. For me this is the best Metal gear. I mean u playing the real Big Boss, what is enjoyable better? Time to put back on my ps3 and insert the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection!
I hated this game when I first played it. I alerted and killed probably every guard in the game. Then I watched the ending, and something compelled me to play it again. It ended up being my first ever platinum trophy. MSG3 is a great game, it just took me a while to see it.
Great run and commentary! This game is a childhood favorite, and I gotta admit even though I've beaten it dozens of times, even in a speedrun where all the dialogue is skipped, the boss's death will always bring a little tear to my eye
When I was young, the first time I used the fake death pill made no sense to me. Cause I didn't know you could still open the menu for the revival pill

That Ocelot Unit fight made me realise how tough this game is on Euro, let alone with the tux! One of my very favourite games, but I think I used to play on easy haha. Amazing run!
The first couple metal gear solid games both the best Speedruns for watching, and playing. I highly recommend for people who want an excuse to play Snake Eater again just try to do some Speedrun techniques. It's so fun

Cynthia Harrell killed the Snake Eater song. Still the best song for a protagonist in the history of gaming.
