If you like bright lights , you would love the BLF Q8 it has double the output of the Exposure with the right batteries it can pup out a whopping 6000 lumins . However with all these lights including the Exposure , these high outputs are for a short period of time due to heat buildup , the internal thermal management will ramp the output down to keep it cool . I love powerful lights 😁👍

The daymaker high beam is not great,
I buy a Highsider Ultimate for my Sur-ron
and the high beam is really efficient.

Ive got a 12w universal voltage LED light from ebay and put it on my 48v ebike its great not as bright as yours but excellent value
looking at something like that now, did you wire it to battery on its own switch, or use the light output on the controller? Cant find any info on what the load rating would be on the controller light output
Looks like you have the same light as I went with. I run it using Delta buck converter at 12.5v, and from what I have seen It is plenty bright for dark night riding by itself. Also power consumption looks to be about 15-20w on high beam for the converter.
I mounted mine higher than yours, with the idea that higher is better for projection without blinding oncoming cars. I still haven't installed my turn signals or brake lights, but I am loving the light. The only thing I would consider is a weak "bike" light to run instead of the headlight when I don't want to attract attention.
cool! its a great light isn't it (the bike headlight). Interesting about the height, I mounted mine in that position purely based on looks! but I know what you mean! yeah a simple cob LED bike light would be ideal to accompany it.
andy kirby I have the 5 and 3/4" version, but it looks like you do too. Its great, i was riding home last night, and a 900 gsxr came up on me. When he figured out what I was riding he told me he really liked it. I do need to go back into the controller and see if I can increase initial starting motor current, but the bike runs great now. I'm moving this month for a new job, but I plan to upgrade the motor and drive soon.
Love the light but not the price, and as it's made for trials will be illegal for road use unfortunately. That light costs as much as the Enduro frame! 😂
The latest 4 led bike light I bought shuts down completely when the battery is low, the previous one was better, would run for hours at a 'moonlight' level once the battery was low, so at least you can still just about see the edge of country roads, and still be seen

Out one morning last year on my diy electric stand up scooter blasting along about 45mph on local dirt paths as you do and no word of a lie the Welsh black panther showed itself in the distance just after sun rise it had been down a chicken pen thing is even though I doing 45mph he could have reeled me in so I pinned it but he went other way scared.

got total 4000 lumens but spread out, so 2200 + 2x230 + 1000... and headlamp. But mostly just use two on medium setting =)

I would drop the Twitter Andy. All I see on there are washed up actors trying to feel significant again. I would put more focus on your Instagram. I went from 2500 followers to over 3000 followers when I dropped twitter and focused more on Instagram. I was just thinking I needed something brighter for my enduro e-bike, but I don't think its worth $400 US.

roy borrill I can see where you are coming from, actually I’m interested in practicing a minimalist lifestyle, I do like technology and I like to show what’s possible right at the bleeding edge. You see a lot of these things I show in my videos I actually resell after I’ve used them. Most of it is purely for the purpose of making a video. I don’t ”need” these things to be happy. What makes me happy and fulfilled is creating and supporting my family.
