Hayo matey , it should just be in my Patreon page when you subscribe it should become avaliable for you man : D
Love these type of videos. Really good for beginners like myself, so thankyou😉
Next time you make one any chance you could just film yourself having a jam to some music using the controller and setup. Would be great to see you using the controller in action.
Hey thanks man! Glad you got some good use out of 'em ; ) I love your channel aswell man - I would have loved to have been clubbin' out in Burnley in the late 90s; I'm a big fan of Donk music I must say 😆 I hear Burnley was a bit of a hotspot hahahaha
But yes mate I can do that if that's something you'd like to see, I can add it to the list and try and get that done sometime in the near future so you can have a look ! : D
@@Doctor_Mush Thanks for checking my channel out and glad you liked it. Got quite a lot of content planned for it this year, but struggling to make time due to work.
Hahaha Donk! I wasn't much into that scene when it was popular around here, had plenty of mates who were into it though. That was a very colourful scene when it was at it's peak.
For me, house music/breakbeat hardcore was more my thing. I was lucky enough to be able sneak into Burnley's Angels the last few years it was going (late 90s). It was old piano house which was played mainly down there. That was one hell of a club, and still one of the best places i've been to even after all these years.
Anyway, i'm subbed to your channel and look forward to seeing you having a jam with your setups. Keep up the good work bud.
Take care;)
im Using them with Korg nano +3d printed stand.. all time good see how other VJ map and use them :)
Oh that looks like a dope MIDI controller tbf; always really wanted to try out a Korg product ! Yeah I'm glad you found it useful man , I defo think keyboards are underrated for VJ's !
@@Doctor_Mush true mine frst controler was edirol pcr-800 lot of fun with it and only for 40$ ppl was crazy how its work its Keys for playing :D(also that hardware midi 16x for remaps) i was like if you map it all controllers can by vj controller, but is large and heavy like mine apc 40 mk1 its awsome controller but you need Cage for transport :( this year i was swaping for that combo Keys (coz its like Jimmy Handrix playing color :D) and with the korg nano is rly small when you print that stand on apc key and also i just pack it with notebook (just in soft case) and im ready to vjgig on club like today
@@Deamonwow Oh yes that is an absolute classic first controller hahaha! ( Tho not very portable ! ) Oh yeah I really like the MK1, I am tempted to get one, even though it is a bit heavier and bulkier, it is a lot more sturdy than the MKII! Nice thats sounding like a decent setup you've got there, plus the 3D printed stands are actually a great shout aswell, I've got one for my APC40 MKII but it always falls apart, I really should get a better made one LoL, but yeah nice - sounds like a proper compact cool setup you've got there man -- good mannn hahahah we love 2 see that, straight onto the next gig oioi : D !!
@@Doctor_Mush if you dont care about weight and carring it to party :D make your own apc 80 (from 40mk1 and 20) its look good for vj b2b :D
Did you have luminosity of the pad dimmed by resolume ? I'm currently on latest version (7.21.3) and barely can't see the colors for some .. :(
Yes the brightness of these buttons is pretty shocking I can't lie hahahaha - using them in the summer at a daytime festival is near unusable ! So I havent had much luck there - they might be able to be brightened as ther AKAI APC MINI MKII had an issue where Resolume was dimming the buttons -- so maybe they can be brighter but I've never really tried ; I know Sean Bowes has a great video about brightness on the MINI , give it a watch there might be something usabel that helps : D
@@Doctor_Mush It's actually possible to output full brightness of the pads because resolume is sending/receiving on channel 1 default settings .. but it correspond to the midi instruction 25% brightness on the key25 .. have to find a way to have control of channel on resolume or convert channel 1 to channel 6 ... bit nerdy haha
Hi bro, Apc mini Mk2 or Apc key 25?
Depends , for me the 25 --- I like the 25 because there's simply way more buttons, so I can do more complex things with my mapping, however if you're more a tactile VJ and you like piano mode, then the MK2 might be the best route !
I going to use this tutorial and of the LPD8 for my Akai MPK3 mini. Its not the same, but maybe it works.
Ahh sick yes mate!! Yea looks like a cool controller that one; I'd reccomend checking out my video on the LPD8 aswell, as that controller has the same drum pads that the MPK3 does, you might be able to fuse the 2 videos and create a hybrid mapping : D Hope this helps !
