I am honestly about to pick up a new career. I will keep VJing, but it's pretty tough to make a career out of it. Many people undercut, and it's very difficult to get a reasonable wage for the labor.
Great video, Im a music producer but in the last few weeks watching loads of Resolume videos and thinking of buying it on a black Friday deal. BTW what is that track at the end you did the demo over?
Childers! Seth here, formerly of The Reliques fame. We need to chat. I’m building out the new QSC experience center at the HQ in Costa Mesa. Planar donated a million bucks worth of gear to make it one of their showrooms as well. I think we can create some awesome content if you have any bandwidth. I’m sure the summer concert series is keeping you busy, but lemme know if you have a couple days to come down and look at the project. We’ll fund the trip. Lemme know. I hope your kid is doing great! Love ya man!
Hello! This was very insightful and thank you so much for sharing! I am going to school for video game design but my dream is to do EDM concert visuals. I would like to know where you got your assets from and if you can import drawings or art from Photoshop/Procreate and or other programs into Resolute to add animation effects to. I'd love to hear your input! Thank you again! ☺
Nice bro thank you for sharing this !! Yaeltex controller are amazing but the price too ahah, apc40 mk2 or Launchcontrol xl + Launchpad are a good alternative too I have a midi fighter twister such a beast for vjing But yeah having just one controller with all you need is a must
Certainly something what most people wont share, To make it more understandable for people who are starting with Resolume, show a light setup how it reacts. I am talking about long parallel strips in the ceiling of a bar or club.
Thanks for the video dude, just getting back into VJing and seeing your project set up was real helpful. I've got a license for VDMX so will probably go back to that software. Love that controller 🙌🏼
Glad you got something out of it. I will use an Edge Detect with a low opacity and then map the arcade button to the Block button in piano mode. I also like a little bit of blow, and others... Ill have to check. I change them up pretty often
My freinds recently started using resolume for their twitch channel, but the program has been crashing when effects are triggered. Any suggestions? I'm hoping this is a "flip this switch" problem a lot of people encounter...
Where does one get VJ sets? Ive been using FL 's Zgame for a while and like do sets with automation clips... But I've seen some impressive stuff on Resolume I just can't get my mp4s to work.
This just made me consider vjing as a career 😮. Thank u for this man 👌🏾

Nice settings. I didn't know that type of controllers. Thanks for sharing
Really cool. I'm trying to learn vjing so it's helpful to see how others work! Thanks!
Thank you so much for making these!!
I’ve recently become an aspiring inspired VJ and this is really helpful! Thank you!!!!
You are very welcome
I don't know if I want to put my email address here but, maybe you can PM me on instagram? @digital_introspect_visuals

sick! I would love to see what you are working on.
Yes Yaeltex is the shit! I love my controller too.
Thank you for making this video! It was so helpful. Do you mind sharing what effects you are using to drum on the pink buttons?

Thank you for sharing! @@digitalintrospect
I'm thinking about trying Resolume out for fun at home. Is there a way to easily get a ton of clips to start using right away?
ill send you some, but it also comes with a handful
@@digitalintrospect That would be amazing man. Thank you
how to create next column button in resolume?
@@vietnguyenquoc2604 there are buttons for trigger column forward or backwards. Look by the transport controls
Hi! Thanks for informing video! I would like to ask you, what's the name of midi controller?
It is a custom controller that I ordered from Yaeltex.
My freinds recently started using resolume for their twitch channel, but the program has been crashing when effects are triggered. Any suggestions?
I'm hoping this is a "flip this switch" problem a lot of people encounter...
i have heard the new version of 7 has some bugs in it, but you should make sure your graphics card has the latest drivers as well

mp4s won't work well with Resolume. You should always convert your clips to DXV3
do you mean how does someone get booked for VJ sets? Or are you looking for content?
@@digitalintrospect i enjoy your sets and need a VJ for a new album and would like to collab
That would be rad. I was just listening to your music. Sounds great.@@covertlotus
@@digitalintrospect I'm happy you like them! 👽❤️😎Cheers from west coast
