  • On this episode of On Purpose, I sat down with Kobe Bryant. Kobe is a five-time NBA Champion, two-time Olympic Gold Medalist and Oscar winner. Kobe created Granity Studios: where his new role consist of being a producer, storyteller and writer.
Here’s a snippet of the brilliance you’ll witness … Kobe: “Now it's different because it's not about the awards, you just wind up trying to create something that's going to inspire someone, that hopefully through that inspiration they can inspire someone else. What I've come to learn as my career went on, that's more significant than any championship."
Please support Kobe’s mission to inspire today's youth and create future champions through his new novel: Legacy and The Queen amzn.to/2lT8NID The Punies apple.co/2m5t1iC

After Kobe passed away. I started to listening to all of his interviews again. and this is what I realised..
This is the story of The great KOBE BRYANT.
The best and worst ending. How it was ended in the worst iconic way posiible with the lost of Gigi (the support protagonist)
They left us behind his lagacy, philosophy, energy, mentality, greatness, entrepreneur, teaching, passion, loves and the LAKERS. The list can go on.
He sacrificed for us. We often don't appreciate the greatness of legends and really understand their philosophies until they aren't with us anymore. and he's is one of them. Possibly the greatest lost of this decade or forever!!

I’m honestly not sure I agree
I think this isn’t the story of “the great Kobe Bryant” but the story of “a basketball player who became a symbol of inspiration and meaning to generations of peoples”
Kobe talked of this himself, he went from looking inward to try to prove himself to the world, to looking outward and finding meaning in inspiring others.
      Paraphrasing here:
“It’s different because it’s not about the awards, but to wind up creating something that inspires another person, and to me, that’s more valuable than any championship”
It wasn’t just about him, which is the beautiful part. He became a lighthouse, a lightning rod of meaning and hope to generations of people. Its tragic he was taken from us so soon, but his legacy is alive. Rest in peace.
Gigi and the others is just heart wrenching, because they would’ve gone on to write stories of their own, become protagonists of their own.

I’ve been watching interviews from him for the last five days, and every single time you can see that the interviewer is always overwhelmed by the amount of knowledge and detail this person had. Unbelievable that he is gone., but god bless he shared his knowledge and greatness with world while he was still here. I LOVE this interview so much because it I coach using energy and subconscious beliefs that have us locked up and stuck. I too, have gotten a TON of push back from people that told me constantly, to change my words. Look for the positive. Stop focusing on the old story! What would I learn, what would clients learn if I/they didn't look at the details more closely that leave such huge clues of help. That's where the wisdom nuggets are. I'm so happy to hear Kobe say those same things from a much higher level of success. Oh what you have left behind, Kobe, goes FAR beyond basketball so, THANK YOU! THANK YOU too, Jay, for this interview!

This was a sheer pleasure to hear!
    Jay Shetty and Kobe Bryant!
Well spoken, calm, thoughtful clear thinker, love to listen to the tember of his voice. He first began to speak,- I was drawn in Spiritually, them my whole being became centered he had a very centering heady effect on me.
Kobe Bryant has just that, talent along with Strategic thinking.
The harmony between Jay Shetty and Kobe Bryant, was a joy to see, feel and experience, this interview just flowed with balance.
Confidence and Stability, Love and Comfort, cutting thru childhood baggage...the Security Blanket,...Kobe Bryant and Jay Shetty agreed:
    "JUST BE STILL"
FEAR will grow..but if you just unpack it, then you arrive at the ROOT!
Unpack your fear look at it, examine, disect, then deal with it HEAD ON, then get over yourself, because this is the journey of evolution, do not obsess the results. Think about what you can do in 10 years instead of obsessing and over estimating for 1 year!
Never leave strategic thinking behind, Obsess for the positive outcome.
Kobe Bryant a strategic thinker, step by step with Consistency and Confidence these are some of what has made him the successful man he is today!
    Born in the USA
    Raised in Italy
Moved back to America, with many struggles along the way.
Be Strategic and Obessive to Find Your Purpose

Been rediscovering Kobe after his tragic passing. I honestly havent been updated with what he has been up to since he always felt immortal to me. I had no worry, I can always enjoy his work another day but the unexpected can always happen and tomorrow is not promised. Its been weeks full of Kobe content. Only a matter of time till I run out of it. Thus, I will not mourn his death, I choose to celebrate his life.
    Thank you, Kobe.

Definitely my favourite interview of Kobe.
He was honestly only just getting started on his amazing journey and had so much more to achieve.
    Rest in in peace ✌🏾

The essence of strategy is choosing what not to do. Strategy is about setting yourself apart from the competition. It’s not a matter of being better at what you do - it’s a matter of being different at what you do.
