If you draw a line 1/2" from the corner cut line, you can make a HST from the leftover fabric for another project. Cut between the lines and you will have a HST for another project.
Love the pattern and the quilt in the video, but why does the pattern say to cut 120 squares from Vegas Strips and 240 of background squares. It looks like they should be equal. Am I missing something?
A friend of mine has made this pattern for over 20yrs and has called it the "Bowtie". And puts the Bowties in a circle. Funny how same patterns are called different things now

What is the brand of the iron you use? Like this block. Thanks for sharing with all of us fans 😊😊
It’s a Panasonic. I ordered mine from Amazon and LOVE it!
We use the Panasonic Cordless "Freestyle" Iron. A must-have for quilters!!!
Do you ever sew the extra seam to save the HSTs for a bonus project or to use in borders or backing? I hate any waste.
Absolutely!! Sew them together for an easy couple pillow shams to go along with your quilt 😛
great!

It's kinda difficult 😅
A friend of mine has made this pattern for over 20yrs and has called it the "Bowtie". And puts the Bowties in a circle. Funny how same patterns are called different things now
I like rule #37
A rule we all should follow 🙂
Do the Vegas strips have pinked edges?
They do not! They're laser precise, at exactly 6 1/2" wide 🧑🔬
@@SewYeah awesome! I will buy some then. I despise pinked edges. 😂
what's going on with the Vegas strips I can't find any but just two on your website?
We're working on making more to put on the website :)
I made this quilt and noticed an error. The pattern says 240 3.5" squares. Only 120 are needed. Thank you for all your patterns and tutorials.
Thanks so much for the correction!
What is the name of this quilt pattern
