Hi Rack, A good review I've just cancelled the AGT manual from my local gun shop. like you said no carring case, you got one with my vixen long, think I paid £1,350 ish absolutely a fantastic gun the vixen get more for your money. The Manul is for to expensive when the HW 44 weihrauch £780.00 is a much better gun I have one. Had a play with Manuel the grip is too small I really have more fun shooting my smith & Wesson 44 magnum steel BB are all over but the 177 flat heads 13 meters on target.I agree with everything you say 👍
Nice well made pistol but not a 10m target pistol. Dedicated 10m pistols like FWB, Anschutz or Steyr will be single shot with adjustable anatomical or maybe maybe even 5 shot automatic for rapid fire. This pistol could not compete with those. These are meant for FAC power levels to shine. At sub 6flb they have limited use. I have an Artemis PP800 that I have tuned to 4flb to get a few extra shots (was 5.8 when I got it) I get about 60 shots per fill and fitted with a nice Hawke red dot. While being very well built this AGT is great if you have the cash but of limited use in the UK.
Another great review, but it’s certainly a plinking pistol rather than a target pistol.. nowt wrong with that either.. I have a Steyr LP50 with a red dot and that’s a plinker as well but that’s probably because my pistol shooting is plop…. But a mag fed gun with average factory sights and an AR15 grip was never designed as a target pistol, its a plinker for people with money, especially when the original power spec is 12 ft lbs… nice though
Or you could buy a Reximex Meto for about 650£ less 🤔 just me or does this look like a copy? This isn't anything like a dedicated target pistol, think Hammerli make a suitable target pistol at this price point
