Maglalosus X Not necessarily, there's a factory Porsche team and a factory BMW team, at least one of each. I think the Ferrari GTLM team is Italy-based.

Maybe that's because the cars are also turning RIGHT and that there are more than 2 corners. too complicated for the Americans .

+911gpd I'm American, and NASCAR Is a great sport, they race at the same sort of tracks F1 does. Also I watch F1, Indy and rally too. So shut up you stereotypical jerk. And for your information most of the crowd was in the infield, plus its a 24 hour fucking race

@FPS....do you know what "BoP" is?...it's rules for each car set by IMSA. Did you know the Vettes are allowed 92 liter fuel tanks and the Ferrari is only allowed 79 liters...and the Ferrari is made to use the smallest air intake restrictor of all the other GTLM cars, also the Ferrari teams are made to use the smallest refueling nozzle that slows their refueling during pit stops. The Ferrari cars are down on top speed and acceleration to the Vettes...does that at all sound fair?....so you see, these wins by Vette are hollow when IMSA purposely slows down the Ferrari so a US car wins Daytona. Last year at LeMans the Vette won that 24 Hour race as well, but the Vette was ran down and passed by the Ferrari after the Ferraris last pit stop with an hour remaining in the race. The Ferrari was pulling away easily from the Vette only to have some debris on the track get jammed into the Ferrari gearbox, letting the Vette go by for the win. In 2014 the Ferrari destroyed the Vette by 4 laps of the LeMans 8.5 mile track and in 2012 the Ferrari won by 16 laps over the Vette. In Europe where the rules are equal, the Vettes gets trounced by the Ferrari, but here in the US, IMSA makes rules against Ferrari to slow them down...and some wonder why more Euro teams don't come over and race Daytona....all true dude, look it up...

That's because they all broke. The 60 car was the only one left running in the last 6 hours.

+Anthony Kernich It's a DP who won the race, but the LMP running here are just LMP2. LMP1 are allowed only in the FIA WEC championship. So, Let's Go LMP and GTLM !
Anthony.....you do know that BoP is unfair against the Ferrari teams right?.....BoP is "Balance of Performance"....which means the Vettes are allowed 92 liter fuel tanks, the Ferrari is allowed only a 79 liter fuel tank. So these Vette wins are not fair wins at all, not many people know the technical aspects of what IMSA does to these cars, why do you think very few teams come from Europe to race Daytona? It's because it's near impossible to get on the podium let alone win the race. In Europe the WEC which is the endurance racing series that puts on 24 Hours of LeMans, but the cars are as equal as possible. In the 2015 LeMans, the Vette won, but the Vette got ran down and passed with less than an hour remaining by the #51 Ferrari, and the Ferrari was pulling away with ease. Only debris on the track getting jammed into the Ferrari gearbox kept the Ferrari from its 3rd LeMans win in 4 years....so you see Anthony...when the rules are equal, these Vettes are not as dominant as you seem to think they are...
I hate the Vettes, and I'm an American...it's because IMSA cheats so much, maybe I misconstrued your post as to you liking the Vettes...maybe I was mistaken and that was my mistake....I just hate IMSA and their making rules to purposely slow down the competition, I loved it when the LMP2 car beat their prescious DP's...a Ligier-Honda beat the DP's at their own race...I was hoping the DP's would have been allowed to run at LeMans against the LMP1 cars, the DP's would have gotten themselves humiliated against the Audi R18's and the Porsches and Toyota LMP1 cars...and the Vettes in GT-PRO will be eaten alive by the 488's at LeMans in 2016...can't wait for Ferrari to avenge the Vette win which was absolutely the luckiest win in the 25 years I have going to and watching LeMans....last year the Vette didn't beat the Ferrari, it won the race yes, but if it wasn't for that damned debris on the track ruining the gearbox with less than an hour to go...and after the Ferrari ran down and passed the Vette after their last pit stop and the Ferrari was pulling away easily from Jordan Taylor in the Vette...I WANT REVENGE!!!...
woodystorey why have you written this rants so many times?IMSA did way better at BoP then you ever possibly could
woodystorey DP are not LMP1-spec cars, they would be close to (but still behind) LMP2. They are different concepts with different aims.
