@@bipper2346 thank you! It seems that they are open when they aren't working on the weekend. From what we have been told during the week when they are working, they might tell you to leave. The construction on the sidewalk is slowly getting closer to the beach but at the rate they are going, it might be another 3 weeks before they get to it.

We were there fishing for 6 hours and I caught it on the 3rd cast go figure. We fished last Saturday 6/19 and didn't catch anything and didn't see anyone else catch anything either.
@@MattsSaltwaterFishing ya I was there that same day in my deck boat in the morning. We found big schools of shad hitting the water and I thought maybe some jacks were there too but no luck.
@@waynegarcia8778 yeah there was a lot of shad and mullet out but out of the 100+ people fishing the jetty I didn't see any Jacks or Kings. It sure was a beautiful day though.
It's doing a lot better now, thanks for asking! Skin is filling in pretty good and I'm able to do more with it. Hopefully in a few more weeks I can take the hook out of a fish's mouth with it. Lol
I would like more catch, clean and cooks. Fishing fun, but I grew up doing it to eat. Y’all do you and what y’all decide to conform to YT’s rules. For me I’ll look for content that’s start to finish, ( family and friends enjoying a fresh meal). 👍 Tightlines!
I hear you on the catch and cook, in previous videos I would show pictures of the meal that we made whether it be Fried Redfish, wish hushpuppies or whole stuffed Flounder. I appreciate the feedback, Kenny.

Yeah the water down here in Corpus is usually better but those Kingfish have been elusive.

The reel is a Penn Slammer 3 6500 and the rod is a Custom Breakaway Omega 10'6" Rod.
