Very good review of rinseless washes. Rinseless is one of my favorite ways to wash my vehicles. I have most of these but not all. Didn't know that Oberk had a rinseless wash and I like the fact it comes with that extra bottle and sprayer for a quick detailer also. Absolute is one of the most unique for sure. I love it's scent but wish it had more of the lime part of it. I think it's a lime/coconut type of scent but it's still pretty good. ONR is still my top pick but I like all of them really.
I just used Hydra in 40 deg weather with full sun, I like it a lot. I find if it dries on the paint, it’s easier to remove the polymer spots than Absolute. I love the scent and lubrication of Absolute, though. They’re both enjoyable to use! There are so many great rinseless washes out now, it’s fun to try them.

You gotta try the Eco Wash from OP as well, the gloss , slickness enhancers of Absolute is a great idea but I think it should be geared towards guys who don’t wanna use a topper after. I have seen some SiO2 sprays not bond ( my fault for not using prep ) I do t like all these you have V2 of Hydra is better than V1 but V1 was good. But using a battery operated sprayer has changed how I do rinseless. I get cleaner panels that way. Uses more water but I like cleaner and anyone can get the sprayers at Harbor Freight.
I was going to order from DIY Detail but they want $15 to ship the sponge (just the sponge). Not happening, Thanks for your reviews. Any experiences with Wolfgang Uber or Ultima?
Just used Absolute for the first time today. Im happy with the results though rinseless washing has never been my preferred method. I’ll use it in the winter months when a soap & mitt wash isn’t feasible 👍
Great video. I like to know if mix together P&S Professional Detail Products - Absolute Rinseless Wash and McKee's 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash don't waste them. I found better raiseless wash to me diy
Absolute most definitely will foam used a paint mixer in a cordless drill to mix it just to see what would happen and it definitely foams and hangs around quite a while. The mixer has never been used for paint obviously 😁
Using the P&S i feel like you always talk about doing 64:1 ratio, but doesnt the bottle recommend 256:1 for most applications? i mainly just want to use this for door jambs and a drying aid. 64:1 fine for that?
Wipeout from ADG is actually an overbuilt Rinseless. It has more composition than we need. They spend more $$ on it than they have too. It’s an excellent product. If u buy Wipeout ur getting more bang for ur buck. Try it out. Feynlab is the Ultima in surfactant Rinseless and cleaning ability. Foams a lot as DIY and really gets in there to clean panels. Super concentrated to the point where u are probably gonna question yourself when using too little. But less is more.
Used Feynlab but it could streak and need to finish with a final step for good results. Still wait absolute delivery and i expect a lot on this product
I have been using N-914, DIY Detail and Absolute. My “go-to” is DIY detail because it cleans very well and releases dirt from the sponge incredibly. Absolute is my least favorite because it’s unnecessarily thick and I dont care for the smell. N-914 is my baseline because its the first RW I have ever used and I know how to work with it..
Wasn’t a fan of absolute at all. Was slicker than ONR but left tons of polymer spots immediately in the SoCal sun for me. Onr didn’t do that. Been favoring mckees rinseless lately though. Can even be used as a paint prep!
Immediately when done toss towel in your rinse less bucket or water with a little APC and let soak. Do NOT let the towel dry out. I have always done this and never had a towel become clogged.
Nice comparison. Interesting how people have different experiences. In Brian @ Apex Details review of Hydra, he commented that Hydra has way more lubrication and cleaning power than ONR…and that ONR is a dinosaur! He thinks Hydra walks the fine line of maxing out lubrication w/o leaving streaks. For PS Absolute, I’ve seen a number of people say they have problems with it being difficult to mix-it leaves chunks in the water bucket and you really have to agitate it to get it to emulsify. Yvan also made a swipe, potentially at this product, that new rinseless washes that aren’t properly emulsified are not good. I’ve also seen people say they have problems with Absolute streaking.
Hydra actually got an upgrade since I made my video so full review coming soon! Absolute seems to have a drying problem that I will address sometime as well but mixing isn’t a problem just give it a stir and your good 🤙😶🌫️🧼
@@JamieTheCleaner that’s interesting. I had no idea Hydra was updated. That could explain the differences of opinion. Definitely interested in hearing your opinion on new Hydra and where you’d rank it now. Good to know about the Absolute-maybe the people fighting the chunky mixes on RUclips had super cold water or something.
@@armandosinger I've used ONR, McKees and Absolute throughout the winter here. When I mix absolute when its cold out (below 20F) I use hot tap water and stir it a bit and it mixes fine. Though it does start to separate when it gets cold. Wish I got a picture of it. I did just do 1/2 my truck with absolute and 1/2 with McKees, Ill leave both buckets outside and take pics later.
Im looking to get into rinseless washes. Can p&s pearl shampoo be used as a clay lube? Overall, since its an off label use, would pearl shampoo be good as a go to, full time, rinseless wash under appropriate circumstances? Thank you, I appreciate the videos.
If you live in a dusty area it becomes very obvious that what these products leave behind is far from trivial. I don't know of any RW that are pure surfactant. They wouldn't drop dirt to the bottom of the bucket if they were. Surfactant is used to boost cleaning power but causes foam which isn't the best. Feynlab is a perfect example of this.
I’ve literally went to Oklahoma and Rinseless washed (ONR) our vehicle on a farm with great results and no “dusting issue” until driven down the dirt road again in which it’s impossible to prevent dust at that point 👍🧼
Not a fan of any rinseless wash unless a vehicle is clean to begin with,we proved on many a vehicle that rinseless washer does leave swirls marks on a panel we've seen it many of times.Anytime you are rubbing dirt across the surface regardless on surfactants you will a million percent mark up a panel,we don't use them and never will, they are only good on a clean vehicle so really what's the point
You’ll scratch a surface when you put something on top and drag across regardless of the lubrication used. Its a matter of how you minimize scratching when washing and drying.
Toby, are you referring to Wolfgang Uber? Or does Wolfgang have a different Rinseless Wash? I like the shine Uber provides, but in terms of cleaning ability and lubrication, I think DIY has Uber beat.
@@bluegrasskid4835 Yes..Wolfgang(The Pink Stuff) Believe me i have used EVERYTHING on the shelf. Until they come out with something better, Its Wolfgang for me. The surface after drying is slick as a cats A**. My personal formula after a wolfgang wash in the detail spray department is 1/3 Surf City Paste, 1/3 ceramic and 1oz of Wolfgang. Grab ya a cheap Blender, mix pour in spray bottle, and your on your way. You will NEVER see a Fly land on your paint. Too each is on, This is what i do. Good Luck.
Someone did a test on all of them and ONR did the best by far in terms of protecting the paint & clearcoat. That was the only one that was invented by the scientist who invented clear coat for cars. Plus ONR has been around for over a decade so has years of proof that it works.
I saw that test, ONR kept the solution in the bucket cleaner than the others, it doesn’t protect the paint as well as the newer technology rinseless washes. Onr was invented by DR G but brought to mainstream acceptance by Ivan. Ivan now owns DIY Detail, he fixed what he saw as errors in ONR , and made his Rinseless the best. Give it or Absolute a try, you won’t be buying onr again.
@@havingtoomuchfun4806 - We must have watched a different video. The one I watched demonstrated ONR left zero scratches or marks, while the others did.
@@havingtoomuchfun4806 - Also Ivan is not a scientist and didn’t invent ONR, a scientist. Ivan is a salesman/businessman. The new ONR formulation was created by the same scientist.

The fact that Absolute doesn't easily dissolve is a major turnoff. It's just weird
Im looking to get into rinseless washes. Can p&s pearl shampoo be used as a clay lube?
Overall, since its an off label use, would pearl shampoo be good as a go to, full time, rinseless wash under appropriate circumstances?
Thank you, I appreciate the videos.
Yeah you can do it all with Pearl 👍🧼
In my experience mckees sio2 RW works better than the Graphene version.
Well done great video. 👌🏻🇨🇦
Nonsense
@@JamieTheCleaner Old thread but I agree. If anything, my ONR washes seem to do better with dust than soap contact washes.
Haven't tried any of these yet but wondered if preferences/ratings are altered when used on a ceramic coated car? Thanks.
Nope same 👍🧼
Griot’s Garage Rinseless wash any good?
Never tried it 👍🧼
Absolute is better than onr! More sliky!
Wow where’s Eddie’s OP 😂
🍿🍿🍿
I hadn’t tried OP when this was made
Nice video
Not a fan of any rinseless wash unless a vehicle is clean to begin with,we proved on many a vehicle that rinseless washer does leave swirls marks on a panel we've seen it many of times.Anytime you are rubbing dirt across the surface regardless on surfactants you will a million percent mark up a panel,we don't use them and never will, they are only good on a clean vehicle so really what's the point
So much misunderstanding about the Rinseless method...
You’ll scratch a surface when you put something on top and drag across regardless of the lubrication used. Its a matter of how you minimize scratching when washing and drying.
That hasn’t been my experience at all. In fact using rinseless washing for me has protected the paint more than the regular soap two bucket method.
Water no profide lubrification against polymere and Rinseless encapsulate Dirt.
Yvan Lacroix give good explanations about it
For sure
Watermelon??? Pretty sure mckees is green apple😂
Who knew
NOTHING is no better than Wolfgang Rinseless Wash. Just saying.
Never tried it 👍🧼
Toby, are you referring to Wolfgang Uber?
Good Luck.
So easy to waste $ on nonsense
Do you think the rinseless washes that have ceramic in them leaves anything behind? Any protection maybe, or is it just for lubrication?
Yes they leave behind protection 👍
He has his own RUclips channel on how to make the most money in the detailing business. That’s why he’s been hired by so many companies to plug their products. The new ONR formulation was created by the same scientist.
@@MrChuckwagon55 Where can I find the Video you are talking about? Interested in watching it.

Read all the comments in the comments section too. I’ve tried all of the cleaning media, and the sponge made specifically for ONR works better than anything I’ve tried. Definitely worth the money for the sponge and lasts for years if your a professional detailer. If your an individual the sponge will probably last you forever.
