I stay in the middle of Karon near the beach and do not hire a motor bike. I eat a lot of street food and the odd restaurant meal. The food is good and reasonably priced. At restaurants I often eat European food and the final price is pretty well the same as Thai dishes. The street food is cheap and very good.
