Oh. Michele this box is so beautiful! I love it! I would use this for special heirloom pieces - maybe sweet things you'd like to pass down to your sweet baby granddaughter!
Thank you, so much, friend! I would love to think, that someday, our sweet granddaughter would love this as much as I do. I am working on a chest turned toy box (for now) and keepsake chest (for later) for her, though 🤗
Oh yes, beautiful transformation! I’m betting you won’t have it long if you do put it in your shop! New subber here from Texas. Can’t wait to see more 😊
Beautiful and thanks for sharing some of your techniques I had not thought of using plastic wrap with cracked patina! I am excited to try that! I liked the pace that your videos moved at you have a relaxing but not boring voice :-) and I also appreciate that you got right with the program 🎊 Turned out beautiful !
Such neat effects with all the different techniques! I hadn't thought of using plastic wrap to take off paint or applying crackle medium with a sea sponge. Turned out so beautiful!
Fabulous up-cycle, thank you for sharing. I would like to say though that the angle of the camera was very strange for me, I felt as if I should turn my laptop upside down 😬
Actually Karen, you would be very surprised at the number of people that do not know that an item, rather it be a toolbox or a piece of furniture, has to be cleaned very thoroughly before painting. I am a decorative furniture artist myself & have taught many classes and there are always a handful of participants that do not know that items need to be cleaned thoroughly. You're lucky she didn't get into more depth with the cleaning process as I do in my classes or videos. For instance what to use as a cleaner & if it needs to be rinsed after, etc. This Video absolutely does not talk to anyone like they are 5, she is just a very good teacher 💯 I have actually learned quite a few paint techniques from her & along with being one heck of a teacher, she is one heck of an Artist. So Karen... Why don't you stop being a Karen... first off & take your nasty comments somewhere else or if you know so much, why are you even watching videos?!? Have a blessed day my friend 👋🏼
Fabulous box ❤❤ just subscribed as I like that you don't take 10 minutes yapping before you start or play annoying loud music xx
Thank you, Susan and welcome!
