- I've been looking to buy a snowmobile lift for awhile now, but i haven't been able to find one that seems to be worth the money. So, why not build one from scratch? We'll build it out of heavier than standard steel tube, add some casters to make it mobile, and outfit it with a Pittsburgh 8 ton air hydraulic ram from harbor freight! It should turn out pretty well and suit my needs just fine. Enjoy!
Keep safety in mind if attempting to build one of these yourself. This video is in no way instructional and for entertainment purposes only.
Nice job! Must be something in the air this winter, no snow and I jacked up my back too, so minimal riding. Getting old sucks!
Thanks! Yeah I think we're all just gettin old! Lol. Hope ya heal up fast! Still hoping we'll see some snow in march and get a little more riding in.
How's the Everest 500 project doing?
Havent touched it this year to be honest. I've got plans to re-make the steering linkage and give it a little love. I'm hoping it'll happen after I get done with this Rev.
Nice work as usual! How do you hold a beer with your tiny hands!?
Much appreciated! Usually gotta pour it into a sippy cup and hold it with both hands ;) lol
This is awesome
Thanks bud! Definitely makes wrenchin' easier, I'm loving it so far.
Eh Mate, quite random but came across your ultrasonic cleaner comparison. It still running and performing good after a year?
Yes sir, still running strong. I dont use it as heavily as some people might, but it gets used at least once a month. No issues so far.
@@NorthwoodsNoise Okay Perfect, thanks mate & keep things up!
@@ChaseWBenson no problem! Will do!
Yeah...good catch on polarity....I might not have caught it as not needed with my old machine but I'll watch that on new little machine...
Good job on math....I'll admit I just stole my design from my bike lift...lol
