Yes, John & Freddie are driving it. I suspect that’s why John always seemed to hover bet Freddie when he was at the piano on stage. There were no ear pieces back in the day. I always smile when anyone of them discuss Freddie’s piano playing style Bc you know he go his hands whacked with a ruler by every piano teacher.
There is a full version of this and this is the last section ( full or 3 section option) In the earlier part or 1st and second sections they explain more what the situation was at the time... Brian also explains ot was Freddie that wrote the heavy riff on guitar
This was so interesting, it was so complex, the amount of work that must have gone into it, but it paid off. Queen were so ahead of the times they were trendsetters
Composing and writting the song was a long process for Freddie over a few years he went back and forth eith a couple of songs then combined elements of both and worked on that The actual recording tooks weeks over 6 studios!
I love seeing these type Queen videos. Please consider doing the Queen documentary done by Brian and Roger. Is This The Real Life. It’s a 2 part and they have a one part with subtitles. It isn’t affiliated with a news channel so you won’t have a problem with uploading. It answers so many questions and is the most informative since it’s coming from Brian and Roger. I think you would love it. I haven’t seen it in a long time and would love to see your reaction
Wow - this is as if I'm peeking over the shoulders of masters of their craft creating their intricate and elegant MASTERPIECE. I just loved every second of it. Great reaction! You have reacted to PART 3 of the full documentary which is called "Inside the Rhapsody". In the first two parts Brian and Roger explain what was happening to Queen at the time they decided to produce the song and how they made a VIDEO as a promotional tool which had never been done before. It's very informative and only a total of 15 minutes. In the video you will see John playing his bass right beside Freddie at the piano - amazing footage of what Brian explained in Part 3.
Fascinating show! Interesting how much influence John Lennon had on Freddie. Also how much influence The Beatles had in the whole band. Does Brian have any idea how amazing Queen was and the influence their music has to this day in the world?
In the early 90s there was a TV show called Stephen King's Golden Years. At the time I was friends with a guy, Joe Taylor, who had a recording studio in the (I think) Tribeca area - and he was doing the score for this TV show which was produced by Mitchell Galin (TV show Monsters & Tales from the Darkside, movies Thinner, Pet Sematary, The Stand). Joe had Bowie's tape just like the one you're seeing here, to use for the series theme - and that track sheet was signed by Bowie. I was so thrilled to touch it. I figured these tapes are fragile over time - but I didn't know it was that delicate. This was back in 1991 - so perhaps that is in a museum now too. WOW. Always a great reaction Rory.
Freddie could sing those high notes as well, his notes just sounded very different from Roger's high notes. Perhaps during this in the 70's when his voice was still developing it might have been an issue, but by the late 70's and 80's Freddie could definitely have sung those parts himself.
He only composed the solo He has explained this . He might pla6 whats composed and suggest to deliver ot slightly differently. As Freddie does with singing. He only composes the solo
What nonsense are you talking about? If you mean your comment, it is really nonsense but Brian explaining how BoRhap was created and recorded is a true gem 💎 and a hell of an effort to create a masterpiece...
The bass guitar is, in many ways, the most important instrument of all.
Queen's rhythm section was brilliant which was why they were so good live

You are so right about John by Freddie at the piano! So in synch
I've watched this a few times, so interesting. Really shows Freddie's genius composing skills.
That was brilliant. Thank you to whoever requested that.
I did
@@janetschulman8998 Sweet! I never saw this before. Thank you. :)
The complexity of the song and the creative way of the recording is stunning.
It just needed mixing and there it was lol Love Brian’s last words … 😂✌🏼
Awesome to see this again, thanks! Great reaction!
I doodle too! I am a artist and when I am thinking or listening to good music I doodle! Be interested to see some of your doodling Rory!
Watching the entire Montreal 81 concert with interjected commentary by Brian and Roger is another fun, amusing and interesting video.
I'd love to see that.
I just found the videos. Thank you for sharing that! 😀
Thank you for doing this!
A lot of work here , love listening to this❤️❤️❤️❤️
You should check out the making of a night at the opera. How Brian did “good company” all on guitar was painstaking

Wonderful to see what goes into recording a music track...
I have watched this a couple of times before but I never get tired of the new things I learn, as Brian breaks it all down.
Wow 🥰 beautiful sweet Freddie ❤️ one vision documentary was so interesting but this one also 🤩😜

Brian is a good talker, he holds your attention.
He used to be a teacher, so he developed that skill fairly well.
That was beautiful to watch and listen to, it's almost haunting got very emotional. Thank you Rory for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️
I love your singing along!! 😊
Thank you Rory, that was very interesting

I think Brian knows but is too humble to say ...
Roger does the tympani solo in the Rock Montreal concert
' inside the rhapsody'
Is the three part one.
This is part 3.
Worth looking at part one and two aswell

Love your haircut 😊
Check out Rick Beato's What Makes This A Great Song (Bohemian Rhapsody) with Brian May. Excellent.
It took 6 wks to record
They put a lot of faith in him because they had no idea what the over all sound would be
These bits isolated sound odd

You know these multi track files are on the internet to download right? I can send you a link if you want...

What is this nonsense
What did you mean with that?
@@WaldschratEule
I meant this song is nonsense ,stupid, and rubbish
