@@zentorno1234 the problem is that even people who own it on a cd can't access it, because it was an always-online game and they didn't even bother to give it an offline patch. Basically all the progress is now lost and worthless
The variety offered by the crew is refreshing. As much as I am a car guy, I am a biker as well, and the crew is the only option regarding this, but regarding driving, how the vehicle feels, and the feeling of speed, Forza just simply annihilates the crew motorfest. The crew had this issue since day one. A lot of people like to argue that point, but I am just baffled by how they can't seem to realize or to accept it, but going 300km in the crew feels like going 50, but that being said it gives you enough variety that like people myself who are looking for a fun open world motorcycle game also tend to pick it up.
not only that I don't get why people call it a simulator some of the events are to wacky with the physics and the festival is so boring Mexico has some varied environments they choose the most lackluster ones
@@Jaroartx I've also seen some videos about how some cars drive the same (i.e. a Mustang and a Lamborghini) and also that the sounds aren't particularly good
Forza's map is awful. More diverse sure but it's empty. It's easily the game's biggest weakness. It's too flat, there's barely any modern infrastructure and the road layout makes no sense. And the interesting parts of the map are hidden away and the middle is mostly open fields. I know Forza designed their own map instead of copying the real life Mexico but that's exactly why it turned out as such a geographical mess. Whichever game you prefer is a matter of taste but Motorfest's map is objectively better. And it's actually slightly larger even without the expansion.
Nice video. I think FH strikes a better ballance bwteen arcade and realism and is slightly more geared towards car culture. While CM is going for a more arcade aproach, relying more on FOMO and more crazy effects while also morphing cars to plane to boats at a whim. To me, while definetely not perfect, i preffer the FH aproach more as it just feels slightly more grounded. Same for the physics, i think FH just has better physics for a slightly more simcade feel as to more arcade in CM. As for traveling to a race. Comming from Car X street, where you also can just fast travel. While nice at first, having to actually drive to a place really lets me see more of the map, and enjoy my cars more and it feels less of a grind. On the point of buying cars twice. Personally i dislike that paid cars get added automatically in a game with a progression system as it breaks that feeling of progression. In fact that is one of the things i dislike about FH5, that there is to little of that. You start the game off with way to fast cars and i get super cars because i played a pervious game. So having to buy paid cars with ingame currence to me is not a bad thing. Comming from the sim side, i am very used to paid DLC's for new cars. And compared to those the packs in FH are relatively cheap :P Imo CM tries to imitate FH too much. It should try to find it's own identity and go off in a different direction. All it does now is trying to be the FH experience from Wish or Ali Express trying to lure in people with more bling and flash while feeling more plastic fantastic. As for the Ubi hate. If you have played Ubi games for a good while, you'll see why the dislike towards Ubi is there, it's not just from the latest AC debacle.
Couldn't have said it better. When I played through the free trial CM physics felt too arcadey, and too flashy for me. But above all, CM being from ubisoft, keeps me from thinking about giving them a single dime.
Motorfest is what FH should've been. I would choose a game with an actual story and heart over a festival centered one any day, but if we talk "festival racing game" specifically, then Motorfest is a better celebration of car culture. The amount of care put into TCM's events and map is not even comparable to the void that is FH5, which only has better physics, that are questionable at times (I mean, it's still a game like any other so, yeah, great physics). Regarding FOMO, in Motorfest's Year 2 Update they introduced a new currency which can be earned by replaying older events with different types of vehicles and eventually you could use it to buy special vehicles or vanities from previous summits even though you missed them. Add to that the ever expanding map and collaborations and you've got yourself one of the best arcade open-world racing game currently available to play. FH has to fill some big shoes with the FH6 (if it's still happening)
I disagree that Horizon 5 celebrates car culture more because it simply doesn't. It celebrates Mexico, holidays and pop culture more than actual car culture. Also FOMO is far more present in Horizon. Weekly exclusive car rewards.
I can't play a game where my dashboard says 300km, and it feels like I could just open the door, step out, and walk next to it, there is no feeling of speed which is very essential, need for speed 2 had a better integration of that feeling, this is what always stopped me from continuing any game of that series, 1, 2 or Motorfest, the onky reason I sometimes pick it back up is to drive a motorcycle in freeroam without being in a hardcorse simulator or on a racetrack like in Ride 5.(which for some reason is worse than 4 even graphic wise)
10:40 What the hell are you talking about? You absolutely can change difficulty before a race in Forza Horizon 5. You sound like Motorfest fanboy for real lmao.
You should have done this video after the Season 5 update, it got Overhauled Graphics, finally working mirrors xd, and the hole new Maui Mao expansion for free, and also a bit more grippier handling that they didnt tell us
Btw Forza is not original at all, as it "copied" many aspects from different games, i dont like to call it a copy because it makes me sound like a fanboy, when im just a fan, alone
I had no idea. Im new to racing games so i dropped straight into Forza Horizon 4. Researched and figured that was the best starting point and then later i can drop into The Crew 2 and maybe Gran Turismo 6 or 7. So far Forza seems very fun and the tuning is so addicting. So just out of curiosity, which games did Forza copy aspects from?
@ZyklonBeast12 well, it took the Free roam aspect from Test Drive Unlimited, the rewind feature from the GRID games and the festival idea from NFS Pro street, i dont really like or want to say it "copied" those aspects, because i dont wsnt to act like a toxic FORZA Fanboy who hates on every other game
I cant play any racing game other than fh because all other games cars feel like toys but they are trying to be realistic with those physics. Thats stupid. Still I cant deny that after %100 completed fh4, Fh5 offers almost nothing new or better. So I just copied someone elses save to my account. Yes it is very complicated but possible on pc.
They’re both kinda boring. I miss the underground racing stories. FH5 doesn’t have underglow. You gotta pay for underglow on TCM. You can make color tint on FH5 you gotta buy color tint on TCM. Idk bro TCH has good little features but damn These shits boring idk
Motorfest poor reviews are because it got review bombed after crew 1 was shut down, Ubisoft then announced the offline mode thing afterwards
Isn’t it like 5 people on the planet that still play crew 1 😂?

Disagree with one thing. When u buy dlc car pack for forza u are getting one copy of each car from that dlc for free (without speding cr)
I dont know about motorfest but the FH5 is SOOOOOO boring... The map feels really empty compared to FH3 and FH4

funny you say that because the FOMO is one of the biggest critiques about Forza, I haven't heard the same about motorfest

10:45 that's not true, you can change it the same way you change it in motorfest!
Motorfest is like Horizon for bums. I am so disappointed that I just threw 60 USD on Motorfest today. WTF were I thinking.

yea
The grind for forza fast travel whine sounds like skillissue, as it really isn't a lot of work....
its crazy how forza died for a while then gained the entire fan base back. forza is fr just that guy.
I HATE the physics and the tuning for Crew Motorfest, everything slides even when the car literally is not supposed to

why isn't Forza Horizon going into the NFS HEAT way? be a festival 'Horizon' game in the day, at night be a NFS game.
If their's cops involved the at night time then some manufacturers might pull out cause of that
