Knowing how those type of people think they would either:
1. Deny and claim it was a success.

What's funny is I haven't seen that movie with the Hex Girls in it in years, but I remember the song word for word. To me, if I can remember something that I haven't watched in about ten or fifteen years, you did something right with your movie.

@@FactoryDan the cast and crew don't hate you they Steven know you and they don't hate Scooby Doo they just decided to try something new with a classic see what works and what doesn't seem how far they can take it with out making it fully different. Velma is weird and it calls out a lot of societies short comings but there's no reason to feel attacked. This week I was accused of being racist for disliking a supremely unlikeable character (Amber from the Amazon Invincible series), when I pointed out why I hated her I was told to “get the f*ck out of here”, so I unsubscribed from this RUclipsr who I have watched for years. Hearing other people say “it’s okay” to disliking unlikeable female characters who were disembowelled from their source material into “strong feminists” (a.k.a bitches) … this made my day.

This show is still killing the Scooby-Doo universe itself by using the names and titles of the characters. This series is not worthy of existing and ruining what the original shows, cartoons and movies were given to people. Definitely not worth watching even for fun.

The animation makes me hate the animators. The original Scooby Doo animation from the late 1960's/early 1970's was better.
I prefer watching 90's, 2000s And Early 2010s Shows That anything that's not The 2020s with a Few exceptions.

Apparently, the killer was a genetic modified dog named scrappy that kills people amd also managed to kill our egocentric protagonist.
It looked like an indie animation made by second year animators and yet somehow somehow a full team of professional animators made it. My god how did they do that?

I still don't get how Hollywood has turned in to claiming such failure is somehow a success. Also, how do they still think using an IP that is already popular and has a well established fanbase, just to lose all those fans and ruin the IP...why don't they just buy rights to an IP that has already failed and try to make it some kind of successful?
If you have to bring someone else down to elevate yourself, the problem is you.
Also, one of my favorite strong female characters in anime was the lead of Read or Die. She was a quiet, shy character but a strong female with integrity. But heaven forbid American Corporations involved in animation come up with a wonderful truly strong character that people actually like.
My wife and I love Scooby-Doo. Our kids love Scooby-Doo. And to let someone watch this will Scar someone for life.

Might I recommend not messing with any IP which is 10+ years old? Maybe with such a criteria it'd spare us from all sorts of reboots, remakes, re-imaginings and sequels. Go away, Mindy.
This hurts so much in that I had a hugely popular webcomic (well-drawn, well written, unique teen monster epicness) that I pitched to a lot of networks and was turned down. It's amazing. It's like they look for bad content. It actually plays well into my theory that the companies have been grooming us for decades to accept mediocrity.

Excellent video, much more entertaining than Velma ! I'm really surprised that they didn't shelve Season 2. The characters were obnoxious in Season 1 and it seems liked they've doubled down on that. The 7% audience score is the only one that counts. Will season 2 do even worse than that 7%? Could it be worse than the Cleopatra score of 3% ?

Mindy has never wondered how she was going to eat for the next month. She's never worried if she would be foreclosed on or forcibly evicted before her next payday.
A good night for Mindy as a child wasn't lying under her bed in terror until she passed out. Those being the good nights because the bad nights we're the ones that erupted in top of the lungs screaming and the sounds of glass shattering and doors being kicked in and blood everywhere and helping clean up blood and filth and maybe helping to sift out some of her mother's teeth that just got knocked out...
And as a slightly older child she didn't have to try and reconcile loving a fun and attentive parent who would die protecting them with a domestic abuser that was the same person.
They also didn't have to realize they had been manipulated and abused by ther other parent that always played the victim, but who really had started all the physical violence and usually with a weapon like a bat or a knife. And she would never stop until she had been beaten. (Yes, the man should always leave before hitting a woman because of their strength advantage. But real life is very complicated. Especially when you're poor and have nowhere else to go.)
No, she had the horrific experience of being teased as a child because she was different than the other kids. THE HORROR!.. THE TERROR!.. TRULY I KNOW NOTHING OF PAIN IN COMPARISON!

Keep in mind Warner bros did the same to infinity train season 4 after dropping season 3 weekly. They have to fulfill a contractual obligation and they are at least aware of the backlash surrounding this show

honestly, for all of the problems with the damsel architype, most damsels had to be at least likable, since otherwise why would we, or the hero give a dam if they were in danger or not?
Sarah Jane Smith, or most of the classic Doctor who companions, original Disney princesses like animated Ariel, Snow white or Jasmin; not to mention classic Dafney and Velma from the original scooby do cartoon.
