    I bet your comedy is off the chain. I have schizoaffective bipolar type and im fun when im manic. Not fun when im paranoid. Ive been on every drug for this. Even thorazine. Its something no one wants to talk about, so thank you for talking about it.

    I've snorted it before, but big mistake. It was generic Quetiapine rather than the Seroquel brand, but the pills actually contain cayenne to try and stop people snorting them...which meant when I snorted it the cayenne cause a LOT of mucous production which both blocks up your nose and pushes the powder out,

    • @BipolarPerson

      Cayenne!!! That's just mean!

      @@BipolarPerson I know! And so random to put it in Seroquel, too. People DO abuse it (mostly in prisons or psych hospitals) but I always sound it so weird that THAT has cayenne in to deter abuse but they don't put it in common drugs of abuse like benzos or opioids

    • @BipolarPerson
      @BipolarPerson  6 месяцев назад

      Yeah that doesn't make any sense. I guess they assume if you've got a benzo you're set. I think with Oxy cotin they knew people were snorting it and they didn't care because they only made more money according to the drama series I watched. I think I felt that cayenne now that you've said that!

    • @BipolarPerson
      @BipolarPerson  2 года назад +3

      really?????? I think that didn't happen to me because of all the crank I did in high school and coke and crystal I did in my psychosis. I've also had a nose job. My nasal passage ways have been wreaked for a long time. I have Covid now my lovely sovenier from Mexico and my nose is filled with blisters. I always get blisters in my nose when I have to blow my nose too much from a cold or crying or whatever. My nose has most definately taken a beating. I'm lucky to have found lamictal. No psychotic episodes in 5 1/2 years. 😁

      @@limitless5748 Lol. When I was in High School I used with my friends, it was called crank back then and no where near as powerful. When I did that in HS it was my decision which I take full responsibility for. Coke too that was fun. Wrong but fun. I would have never done crystal had I not been psychotic. I I was basically wandering the streets and as a female it's not safe to just randomly fall sleep on the sidewalk the way a man can. The only people who didn't tell me I'm crazy or weren't afraid of me were other mentally ill and homeless people who used. They gave it to me. I don't know how long I was actually up for because I didn't sleep more than a few hours every few days because of the mania/psychosis. I never bought it and I've never felt the desire to use drugs other than when I was in psychosis. I am lucky in the way that I never felt the need for any of these drugs, they were there and when they weren't I didn't care. Steal my joint though and we will have a problem. I kicked cigarettes after nearly 30 years. I am still working on coffee and even though I'm off weed for 4 days I have no doubt I will use it again. It's the only thing that helps my ptsd. Everytime I stop my nightmares and night sweats come back. 😁 I would advise anyone not to do drugs of any kind.

      Hi! Thank you for watching. I don't know if you saw my follow up video for this but there is a link in the description on this video. It's so awesome that you are willing to take medication that is one thing people don't want to do that causes so many people with mental illnesses harm. Finding the right medication for you can be really hard sometimes. Since everyone is different I don't like to talk about specific medications because all medications have side effects for someone but never for everyone. This video was more about making hard times not so bad by not worrying about things out of our control. I have never been prescribed seroquel but I can tell you the most important thing about finding the perfect medication is being honest with your doctor and making sure they are listening to you. I didn't understand that I would absolutely end up dead if I didn't take medication until 4 years ago and it has allowed me to actually live my life now. 8 million peopme worldwide die every year from mental illness related deaths so I am so glad that you are taking it! I hope you find best medication for you and don't give up if it gets frustrating. Thank you again for watching. ❤️

      Hello, Thank you for your comment. Bipolar Disorder is a brain disorder and psychosis is a symptom of that. One does not know they are in psychosis. The definition of psychosis is a complete detachment from reality. One not living in reality does not behave normally and that is s symptom. When you believe people are trying to kill you then you react in ways that are not acceptable. Sometimes it can be difficult for someone who has no knowledge of the biological factors that take place with someone is experiencing psychosis but it is like this. If you get sick and throw up I am going to know that is a symptom and you did not do that with intent. The brain is an organ like any other. It malfunctions. Thank you again for your kindness and compassion.

      Hi, this is a video in a series "My Manic Life Vlogs." I have been diagnosed with bipolar type 1 with psychotic features and mixed episodes. I take 400mg of Lamictal and have never been prescribed seroqual. I have heard a lot of people have bad experiences with Seroqual but for some others it's been a life saver. I don't review medication because so many people are different and need different things. I was in jail because of a psychotic episode and my cellmate was prescribed Seroquel. The videos not about medication, I'm sorry if that's what you were looking for or if you had a bad experience with that medication. The video is actually about, how to not worrying about things outside our control. I know it's frustrating finding the right medication. I had a lot of bad experiences and it took a long time to find the right one but it is worth it. We can't control that we have bipolar but we can control how many times we keep trying to find the right medication and don't give up. ❤️

      Hello, Thank you for your comment many people experiencing symptoms of a severe psychotic illness will look to self medicate but drugs do not cause bipolar disorder. Because decision making is impared many people fall into this trap. It sounds like someone with bipolar disorder might of hurt you and I'm sorry if that happened. Calling people crazy is hurtful, those of us with a medical condition do not deserve that. It's cruel. Your knowledge is limited and I would suggest taking a College course on psychology. A College degree is helpful for communicating with others and learning how to spell. Do you also blame the person with Dementia for acting out? It's the same. Have a beautiful day and again knowledge will save you.
