    Oh Lolo,this came up via the search engine when I searched for how to make ugba/abacha with ngu. I learnt today to use ogiri,so I will try it.
    Aww! See how your son is helping to explain the process. I love how they are in the kitchen with you, As a mum who also raised sons only,it helps them a lot if they know how to cook and don't have the mentality that the kitchen is only for women. I totally enjoyed watching it,let me go and make mine now with the correct ogiri that I came back with when we last visited

    Is good to heat up the ugba before using cos you dont know the environment where they produced it. I like adding onion 😃 finally I don't like to use blended crayfish when making ugba, nkwobi or abacha maka aja crayfish i will selec it carefully, wash and pound together with fresh pepper. Thanks for sharing ❤

    This ukpaka is highly medicinal, some people used potash in place of ngo. The ehuru and ogiri will it a great taste. It came out yummy 😋 and appetizing

    Personally after sieving the ngu the first time, i only leave it to settle first before gently pouring out what i need d/by leaving behind that which seems like sand.

    I prefer ngu to potash too though lately I discovered bicarbonate powder too.
