except the rotation on the tops is in the wrong direction. you wrap towards the rider on top because of the pulling motion when climbing on the tops is rotating the bar tape towards the rider. so in your example it would be loosening the wrap.
After doing it myself several times and seeing tons of videos about it..... there's no correct way to wrap it around, they all do it differently (50-50)
@@d.biketech1788 It's best practices, not rules. Always tape in an outwards direction so that the tape gets tighter as the rider grips the bar. Other than that the tape looks awesome.
@@althaelactually you are partially incorrect. For left side of handlebar you go from inside out or counterclockwise. You reverse the direction of outside in or clockwise on the right side to facilitate the movement your hands have with increased grip tightness on the drops
Just an ameture, but still I feel to comment. This tapeing round the handle bar's of SAGAN THE GREAT is to cushion his arms from road shocks while he's leaning on the handle bar during his ride to fame as G O A T RIDERS.
The best figure of eight bar tape wrapping video on youtube.
Thanks dude

Okay, that's perfection. Bar taping as art. Even stuck the landing on the bar plug. Bravo!
Correct Direction from beginning to end, always grip pull/twist outwards on bicycles, as you twist the throttle on your motorcycle inwards.
Best way to wrap cos this is exactly how I do it including the direction of the tape at the start and finish.

Yep! And everyone that show it says that their method is the right one.

You did wrong direction on the "climbing" barl..
Your 'opinion' was noted. There are no rules with bar tape my friend

for that u need reverse start in 8 figure thats important u start clockwisw or counterclockwise at starte
Right and wrong is relative between the bike and the rider.

Esta mal instalada.
it's funny cause the first time i saw people use an electrical tape at the last part, I was wondering if it's some kind of special bike tape. :p
