Politics/politicians are embarrassing - 17 years serving - lads get the ultimate respect - them politicians are a joke - They will never see what the lads have done “never” they get a post and move on.
As silly as the politicians look, I reckon most people commenting here would be just as bumbling. Coming from the uk straight into desert heat, with armour on probably isn't the easiest thing, especially if you're not used to it. I'd also point out there a good few MPs who have been soldiers themselves
@MinorHeadstorm It's perfectly good equipment, it's just not designed to be used in 60 degree heat, in constant sandstorms and with little time for cleaning and repairs. The stuff that doesn't break is the old school mechanisms like in the Ak 47s, but you won't hit anything from 300 meters away with them. Bit of a catch 22 really
so the vehicles don't work, the weapons jam, the taliban all get away, no ground is won. If i were in this film I'd be embarrassed to have it released!!! NB. no wonder the vehicles are so bad, there built by a BOAT builder!!!!!

I would like to start a campaign that in future when the politicians start sending British infantry in the another foreign war, the politicians who vote in favour of the war will have to do a tour of duty on the front line for at least a year. Maybe then the will think twice about getting us involved in another useless campaign.
