It is definitely worth the hype. This bag is probably the only bag i can say if it gets stolen or burned i would immediately purchase again. My very first bag was the Speedy B30 in DE and sold it to get 25. It’s perfect for everyday. Other than the tight opening i think its one of the best and most practical bags out there.

I delayed my purchase for the speedy b 25 for so long bc I thought it was bigger in person and when I finally saw it I was like oh! She's smaller than I thought lol plus I was scared of the price increase so I pulled the trigger in February and have 0 regrets! Although she doesn't get used often I'm glad she's in my collection :)
@Melissa Adams-Wade they showed me the speedy 20 the same day and I was like oh man that thing is tiny 😅 which is crazy the difference is only 5 cm in length!
I love the Speedy 25. I have the Azur and Monogram in 25 but sold my 35 because it was just huge. I do wish the zipper would go down the sides a bit. I think this bag is a classic for a reason and they hold so much for the size.
I would love to add a speedy in the DA. I’m hoping they will come out with the 20 in DA. I don’t feel like I need 2 25’s sense I use my small bags more.
hello, I got this bag this year and I'm glad I did. I love my monogram speedy B 30 but was a bit afraid for the vachetta if there's a sudden change in weather. The DE works great for that. Sudden downpour did not faze this bag. Just a wipe and it's fine. I like that it is not too obvious, the colour is neutral, and can be dressed up or down. Very practical.
Hi Melissa, I have the same bag. I agree it's a casual bag for me too. Also, I did purchase the organizer since I don't like the slouch. Unfortunately, the clasps are already tarnishing a bit 😮 I had it for a little under a year. It's not noticeable unless you hold it up really close. Must say I'm disappointed! So now this is my work horse bag. I'm using it daily.
I can see that happening. The hardware on the bag seems so much cheaper then the hardware on the strap. You would think it would be the other way around. It’s a great work horse bag.

Speedy B25 DE was the first bag I bought from LV in 2021 and still love it. Carries so much and love the organisers. Otherwise it’s a pit if doom and need to dig through to locate an item. 🤭
Hi Melissa. I've had my DE Speedy 30 for 10 years. When the Speedy 25's came out I really wanted one in DE, but chose the Mono so I could have some variety. I recently purchased the Speedy 25 in Cognac and I just love it. Now I have my eye on the new Speedy 20 in DE that is coming out but now sure if I will definitely get it...only time will tell. I agree w/you the Speedy 25 is just really practical, I do think the leather version elevates the feeling a bit, but most days I am casual as well.

I love this bag, own the same one. The only con for me is the strap never gets more comfortable (compared to raw leather). But its so practical and weather friendly that I like to travel with it.
The leather speedy 25’s have a zipper that goes down the side of the bag instead of just the top. It opens up wider and it’s easier to get in and out of your bag. I believe some of the limited editions have the zipper that goes down the side as well.
I had the Pochette Métis and I sold it. I think it’s a great everyday bag. Fits a good amount, has an adjustable strap and top handle. The bag just wasn’t my style. I’m not a fan of boxy bags. If you love the style/look of the bags, I say go for it.
Where do I even begin? In 2017, I purchased the Speedyb 30 Mono but never wore it, and ended up selling it in 2021. I instantly regretted it, even though I felt it was too big for my liking. So, I decided to try the Speedy 25 Mono, but it didn't really capture my heart, so I returned it for a refund. However, I repurchased it in 2022 and now I absolutely adore it! Perhaps it's the stunning vachetta leather that drew me in. But, my latest purchase, the Speedy 20 in Empriente, has completely stolen my heart. It looks so classy and expensive, and as I grow older, I find myself preferring discreet bags with minimal logos. Living in London has made me quite paranoid about getting robbed, so I always try to be cautious. Now, I'm ready to part ways with the Speedy B25 for good.
I love my damier ebene speedy B 25 it may not be the most exciting but it’s definitely functional and versatile and screams classic lv I want another speedy B 25 in damier azur i just haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet great review ❤❤
That a tough one. If you need to be able to fit a laptop I’d go with the neverfull. If you like more security, and multiple ways to wear, I’d go with the speedy 🤎🤎
I love the Speedy B 25. Honestly such a good bag. It can hold so much (I have a felt organizer in it), and I love the zip. And I dont wear it crossbody because I find it bulky, I just make the strap short and use it as a shoulder bag. So classy and it's carefree because I have the Damier Ebene, don't need to worry about the VACHETTA and water stains (where I live rain is common). And yes I can fit a water bottle in it. I want this SAME bag in the MONOGRAM... Ughhhhhh it's so pretty I think an organizer is a MUST imo cause it's slouchy, and I do NOT like wrinkles and over time it will get wrinkly and deformed. I like a smooth shapely round speedy.

I realised that I this kind of bag are my style (top handle with crossbody option and bit slouchy) so I am thinking of adding both 25 and 20 in my collection.. if only my wallet agrees 😂😂

Oh my goodness, how exciting. Have you went in store to try them all on? It really helps to see them on your body and see how comfortable they are. The Madeleine bb is on my radar. It reminds me a lot of the LV croisette but in leather.

I couldn’t check it out since it was not available in the store. I got speedy 20 too and when I got home I felt like its too small on my body hence ordered 25 but got nervous about the zipper.
I don't own the Speedy B25. I think it would be perfect to wear more casually unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I'm just under 5' and like to wear my bags mostly crossbody especially running errands but on me, the Speedy B25 juts out too much from my frame and then to carry it with items in it is more uncomfortable but I think it's a classic bag. I have been looking at the Speedy B20 for awhile now so maybe one day I may get that. Thanks for sharing ❤
I have this in the 30 size without the strap. I definitely love the speedy bags. I don't really care for the added strap it makes this bag look to much like luggage instead of a traditional satchel bag.
@Melissa Adams-Wade I was the rose empront leather and I don't like the texture of that leather, for something that seems durable it just is not, so I sold it, I really like lv canvas more than the leather, I tend to toss bags around my poor bags don't get thiere one seat it's survival of the fittest. Car floor board, office filing cabinet, no mercy.
It looks like luggage and it’s as boring as heck. That’s a classic, right there. I’ve recently begun to look at this bag because of its functionality as a carefree, all weather, grab and go that can actually fit a book, umbrella and water bottle without trying to play tetris with everything. I think it looks better a little roughed up and slouchy. I’m also dressing far more casual than I’ve done because my lifestyle has changed so perhaps that’s what’s pulling me in more. I love the speedy! I don’t have one yet, and the reason why is because I fell in love with the Alma bb in DE and purchased that one instead. My goal was to only have 1 LV bag in each canvas and I really gravitate towards the ebene speedys. I’ve been going back and forth on the azur but I feel like there are better DA styles. Still not sure if I’d want the 25 or 30. Is it worth getting the 25 if I already have the Alma bb?
You love the DE canvas so I would go with that. The design of the Alma BB and the Speedy is very different. I think you will find that you reach for both bags for different occasions.
I have the Alma BB and Speedy B 25 both in DE. It’s the only canvas that speaks to me. Plus that red interior is to die for.❤ I had the same thought as you. I feel silly having both but my speedy is my mom bag when I’m with my littles and carrying a lot. The Alma BB is more of an everyday bag that I use for myself and fits my essentials plus extra. I do think that if I had to pick, I’d choose the Alma because it’s so damn gorgeous. Once I don’t have to carry as much for my kids, I’m not sure what I’ll use speedy b 25 for but I wouldn’t sell it. I love the story behind it. Good luck deciding! I got mine preloved in excellent condition so that could be an option for you too!
I love my speedy 25 in Azur. I don’t have the B version but if I had that, I would love it even more! I just add a shoulder strap (even tho some say not too) and it is does the trick. Such a functional bag.
Hey Melissa. I never owned this bag because I was never a fan of the esthetics and how huge it looks crossbody. I usually dress casual n need for carry more stuff because of my 2 little kids. For these reasons I’m now really drawn to this bag. Sometimes you really don’t know how much you need a bag until you own it. This is definitely next on my wish list. I heard the DE print is coming out in the 20 size so I may hold off gif that but I may still want the 25 sz for the extra space. I do like the sloughy look. U are so right that u would hv to really mis-treat this bag in order for it to really show wear. That’s how I feel about my neverfull DE. I throw n kick it on the plane and it takes a beating 😂. I purchased the speedy 25 without the cross body I found it to be a complete price hike just from a strap…. But I was so so so into this bag I gave a goal for myself once I got there I would buy my #1 have to have bag and this was it soon as I got it for some reason I’ve only used it 2 weeks and I’ve had it since 2020…. I dunno if it’s because it’s so heavily seen and so many fakes/dupes or if it just doesn’t fit my style which is jeans/leggings and graphic tees but once I got it I didn’t vibe with it 🥺 I still love the style and look of it and I’ll never get rid of it but I hope I’m not the only one feeling the same
Oh no, I’m sorry to hear this. A very similar thing happened to me with the pochette Métis. Everyone loves that bag and I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t loving mine. It’s okay to not love a popular bag. The speedy is not my go to bag when I’m dressing up. It’s more of a work bag for me.

I have 3 Speedy b 30s and 2 Speedy b 25s. It is a favorite LV style. Yes , I am casual most of time. Easy is good .
The other thing about the Speedy it does not get super heavy.

I’ve only had this bag for 7 months. So far no tarnishing on the hardware but I do feel like the hardware is lower quality then my other LV bags.

I don't own the Speedy B25. I think it would be perfect to wear more casually unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I'm just under 5' and like to wear my bags mostly crossbody especially running errands but on me, the Speedy B25 juts out too much from my frame and then to carry it with items in it is more uncomfortable but I think it's a classic bag. I have been looking at the Speedy B20 for awhile now so maybe one day I may get that. Thanks for sharing ❤

I have this in the 30 size without the strap. I definitely love the speedy bags. I don't really care for the added strap it makes this bag look to much like luggage instead of a traditional satchel bag.
I have to have an option to carry my bags hand free. I do however, love the look of it carried too handle. Thanks for watching and commenting ❤

@Melissa Adams-Wade I was the rose empront leather and I don't like the texture of that leather, for something that seems durable it just is not, so I sold it, I really like lv canvas more than the leather, I tend to toss bags around my poor bags don't get thiere one seat it's survival of the fittest. Car floor board, office filing cabinet, no mercy.

It looks like luggage and it’s as boring as heck. That’s a classic, right there. I’ve recently begun to look at this bag because of its functionality as a carefree, all weather, grab and go that can actually fit a book, umbrella and water bottle without trying to play tetris with everything. I think it looks better a little roughed up and slouchy. I’m also dressing far more casual than I’ve done because my lifestyle has changed so perhaps that’s what’s pulling me in more. I love the speedy! I don’t have one yet, and the reason why is because I fell in love with the Alma bb in DE and purchased that one instead. My goal was to only have 1 LV bag in each canvas and I really gravitate towards the ebene speedys. I’ve been going back and forth on the azur but I feel like there are better DA styles. Still not sure if I’d want the 25 or 30. Is it worth getting the 25 if I already have the Alma bb?
You love the DE canvas so I would go with that. The design of the Alma BB and the Speedy is very different. I think you will find that you reach for both bags for different occasions.
I have the Alma BB and Speedy B 25 both in DE. It’s the only canvas that speaks to me. Plus that red interior is to die for.❤ I had the same thought as you. I feel silly having both but my speedy is my mom bag when I’m with my littles and carrying a lot. The Alma BB is more of an everyday bag that I use for myself and fits my essentials plus extra. I do think that if I had to pick, I’d choose the Alma because it’s so damn gorgeous. Once I don’t have to carry as much for my kids, I’m not sure what I’ll use speedy b 25 for but I wouldn’t sell it. I love the story behind it. Good luck deciding! I got mine preloved in excellent condition so that could be an option for you too!

I love my speedy 25 in Azur. I don’t have the B version but if I had that, I would love it even more! I just add a shoulder strap (even tho some say not too) and it is does the trick. Such a functional bag.
If I were to get another one, I think I’d go for the DA. I’ve actually thought about it BUT I think I’ll go for the Noe BB in the DA instead 🤔
Hey Melissa. I never owned this bag because I was never a fan of the esthetics and how huge it looks crossbody. I usually dress casual n need for carry more stuff because of my 2 little kids. For these reasons I’m now really drawn to this bag. Sometimes you really don’t know how much you need a bag until you own it. This is definitely next on my wish list. I heard the DE print is coming out in the 20 size so I may hold off gif that but I may still want the 25 sz for the extra space. I do like the sloughy look. U are so right that u would hv to really mis-treat this bag in order for it to really show wear. That’s how I feel about my neverfull DE. I throw n kick it on the plane and it takes a beating 😂. I purchased the speedy 25 without the cross body I found it to be a complete price hike just from a strap…. But I was so so so into this bag I gave a goal for myself once I got there I would buy my #1 have to have bag and this was it soon as I got it for some reason I’ve only used it 2 weeks and I’ve had it since 2020…. I dunno if it’s because it’s so heavily seen and so many fakes/dupes or if it just doesn’t fit my style which is jeans/leggings and graphic tees but once I got it I didn’t vibe with it 🥺 I still love the style and look of it and I’ll never get rid of it but I hope I’m not the only one feeling the same
Oh no, I’m sorry to hear this. A very similar thing happened to me with the pochette Métis. Everyone loves that bag and I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t loving mine. It’s okay to not love a popular bag. The speedy is not my go to bag when I’m dressing up. It’s more of a work bag for me.
