Came across this video after 6 months in with my black Empreinte speedy 20. Amazing and straight to the point. No tap tap tap on the package, no stories behind the bag. Don’t need a “jump to the recipe button” kind of review. 😂 I often wonder if 25 could have been a better size if I had a chance to see both side by side before my purchase and this video makes me love my speedy 20 more! Thank you! This definitely helped I wanted to 25 but the 20 came in this cute pink color that the 25 does not + the boxiness you pointed out and the fact that I’m more minimalist (not carrying so much) now made me get the 20
I think the 25 is the perfect size honestly. I’ve never worn speedy bags as crossbody bags. They don’t look right that way. I forget to carry them as shoulder bags or as top handle bags
Great video Heather. I loved the editing and lighting on this video. I think in the leather speedy I would go with the 20. I don’t care for the bulky stature of the 25
I was debating my self to choose between the speedy 20 or the speedy b 25 when I went to the LV store. The 20 is super cute and elegant, but finally, I chose the speedy b 25 in black color😊😊😊for traveling. Great video to compare, thank you.

Thanks for this info Heather! I'm leaning towards the speedy b 20 because I own a DE MM Neverfull for casual everyday and I also have a Pochette Metis black empreinte. I purchased the Vavin PM black empreinte because I love the gold chain that dresses it up for a little fun and transitions to evening, but I now am feeling like the speedy b 20 might fill that need yet be a bit more iconic casual style that I could wear more often. Going to go check it out this week. Do you have any thoughts on this? I'd love your input! Thanks!

I also definitely agree with you about the more elevated look given the gold details. Comparing the two, the speedy overall I would say is more casual and more simplistic in design. The Vavin certainly has more functionality with the additional components. Given your pieces mentioned, it does sound nice to have the variety for different occasions. You can carry each however you truly wish though. So trust your gut with the one you will love and use the most! 🤍

Hi I have my eyes on the 20, i think the gold chain on the straps is really pretty and makes the bag stand out... but im just a little concerned if the gold chain will tarnish in time 🤔 as I plan to keep this bag when i buy it
Funny you mention this as it was an exact thought I had earlier today. Over time, any hardware I’m sure has the potential to patina or change in color. But, I think that could be a beautiful vintage bag at that point!

Very good comparison! I’ve been a speedy 25 fan for years. Such a classic! The 20 is beautiful but when I try it on it feels like a child size bag!
