So the Rio was originally owned and built by Anthony Marnell . Dreamscape actually hired him and his company to do the renovations of the Rio which I think is pretty cool since he was the one to build it and own it when it opened in 1990.

Really happy to see this. We have stayed at the Rio a dozen times "back in the day", but not for a decade though since we move to SC from CA. I was so bummed to see it fall into some disrepair... Saw a WSOP final table there and always had fun. Yes, it is a bit off the strip but when parking was free it was a great launching point. (IDK if they still run any shuttle, I doubt it as isn't a connected property like before). GO RIO!
Parking is still free, but no shuttle service :( It has lots of potential, let’s hope for the best!

Now it has potential 😂😂😂 at least we felt like staying in a pretty nice hotel where you are not afraid to seat on a couch 🤣
When will the renovations be completed.
Hi, nobody tells.. they are working on one tower for now, so much work to be done. Maybe a year or two until we see something major.
