My daughter will be starting under grad in September in a Central London zone university. Hope she will be safe. Will it be ok for her to go to other zones to get groceries etc or for any other reasons... Its quite unnerving as a parent to send child miles away in these circumstances.... thanks for sharing info which are useful for new students.

What is wrong about staying with relatives? The truth shall set you free. Little bit doubt by the immigration officer and the officer will grill you more thoroughly. It is not going to be a pleasant interview if the officer is doubting if you are truthful.
