Can’t wait to check out this class in skillshare. I’m always looking for an easier way to create patterns. First started with procreate. Then saw your videos on how Affinity Designer was easier to preview and put the patterns together. Thanks for always sharing your methods with us for an easier and more fun experience 😊.
This will be THE easiest way ever, once you get used to it. Sometimes I feel like dreaming - why did I spend over a year doing it the harder way? 😂 I am working as fast as I can to get it up and running on Gumroad and Skillshare next wohooo!

Hi Weronika, thanks for your excellent tutorials. I'm new to Affinity and signed up to your resources library but cannot open the template files there. I used the password you emailed but keep getting this message: "The file could not be opened because permission was denied". What can I do to open the files?
Just like you can do in Krita. I kept begging Affinity designer to make seamless patterns easier!
I'll defenitly get the course when I'm back from holidays, but I have a burning question: what is the advantage of using a diamond as opposed to a square?
You end up with a near half-drop-like pattern scheme which allows to hide your repeat better 🥰 The course lists the benefits of using this shape too. Enjoy watching! 🥳 Are you on Skillshare?

Ive joined skill share and I am following your brilliant diamond repeat tutorial. Please could you tell me what I’m doing wrong at the beginning. My rectangle that I move 45 degrees to the right on top of the grey square at the beginning of the tutorial has its corners missing when rotated. I’ve repeated the steps countless times and can’t figure out where I’ve gonevwrong😢
